Bright holiday home with at-home-feeling-atmosphere, beautiful garden (860 sqm) in a romantic, very quiet location. Living room with 2-person sofa bed, (1,20 x 1,85 m) 1-pers. Sofa bed (0,70 x 180 m), patio door; Bedroom with double bed (180 x 200), stove; Dining room with table for up to 10 pers., 1 single bed; large, modern kitchen with ceramic hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, double sink, microwave, toaster, oven, etc .; Bathroom with shower, toilet, washing machine and dryer.

Lawn, flower garden, fruit, vegetables ... beautiful plantation with trees and bushes, wine. We are happy when our guests make use of the fruit in the garden. enjoy the unsprayed wine. Incidentally, there are literally tons of fruit in our property in Lenti, which you can also pick and take away when you go on holiday there. There are also walnut trees and sweet chestnuts, over 20 plum trees and min. 5 cherry trees in Lentiberg!
Beautiful hiking and biking opportunities directly from the house, several beautiful lakes in the near surrounding, many excursion possibilities. We enjoy the experiences in the surrounding nature in connection with the wonderful peace and the mostly good weather. In the garden or during your walks in the surrounding, you can not only watch big deers, but also observe very rare birds such as oriole, hoopoe and green woodpecker and a great variety of butterflies. There are large brownfields that are very conducive to local biodiversity.
By the way: we have two more holiday houses to offer, to be found in the same portal under Hungary / Zala / Lentiberg - wonderfully situated in the middle of nature in the vineyards south of Lenti and our new house REFUGIO, also in Hungary, Vas! And even if all three houses are occupied at your favourite date, we can make other attractive suggestions, because we are a circle of German and Hungarian friends, who together care for the well-being of our guests! So my Hungarian neighbors lovingly care for my garden in Szöce and I help them to find summer guests for their beautiful house.

Location and surroundings of object
From Heiligenkreuz border crossing 37km, from Vienna 2 hours drive, from Budapest about 3 hours, about 1 hour from Graz - 37km from Heiligenkreuz border crossing, 16km from Körmend, about 12km from Zalalövö. From Munich 540km. Thermal spa Szentgotthard 37 km (beautiful and inexpensive!), very beautiful, large bathing lake (Barastyán tó) with wonderful sunbathing lawn, playground and restaurant in 2km as the crow flies (15 or 30 min. by bike), 1 small shop in the village and hypermodern supermarkets in 15 min/car distance (Tesco, Aldi, Lidl, Plus). Our house is situated on a small, hardly used road at the end of the village. On the other side of this road flows a clean, shallow stream - the children love it! Wonderful walks directly from the house. Idyllic and very quiet. Only in the main holiday season do Hungarian children practice traditional dances near the house. - We find this very interesting and don't feel disturbed. Szöce is a relatively large village with a very traditional Hungarian character. It is situated in the Örseg Nature Park, in a wooded, hilly, natural, primeval forest landscape. Here you can still experience nature unspoilt and make very unique, adventurous and interesting observations. Orioles, hoopoes and other rare birds flutter around the house and we have photographed their nests from our property. Deer, roe deer, hares, storks, grey herons and white egrets, cormorants as well as pheasants can be observed during walks (directly from the house), hoopoe and green woodpecker come to visit in the garden. The butterfly diversity is unique! A paradise for nature lovers. Excursions to the small Balaton bird sanctuary and buffalo reserve, Zalaegerszeg open-air museum, the wonderful (and inexpensive!) Spa&Wellness, Keszteley with castle, arboretum and Balaton Museum. Nature trail with healing spring. We will gladly send you extensive information material!

Relaxing time out
We went for a week for a quiet break in this quietly located cottage with garden. The accommodation is clean and well furnished, the kitchen well equipped and the garden restful with some feathered guests. Communication and assistance from our hostess was prompt and uncomplicated, so we are happy to recommend this quiet spot.

Relaxed holiday with dog
After the landlady had let us stay in the house in Lenti 2 years ago (wonderful), we now stayed in the house siggi. Here, too, everything you need is there. And our Am Staff dog is welcome, which is not often the case here in Germany. !!!!! It is wonderfully quiet and you can go on walks with your dog from the house. The people you meet are warm and dog-friendly. However, if you want a bit more forest, you are better off in Lenti
There is a corner shop in the village and the lake is 10 minutes away by car. There are frequent markets in zalaegerseg, so it's worth shopping there
We didn't manage to visit Budapest again this year because we liked it so much on site
A clear recommendation for those seeking peace and quiet and / or holidays with a dog!!!!

Naja für Ungarn entsprechend.
Waren nicht so zufrieden wir wir erhofften.
Vieles ist alt und abgenutzt. Der Garten ist prima wie das Klima. Ansonsten nicht unbedigt das beste für eine Buchung.
Glaube wir werden nächstes Mal am Balaton mit Pool buchen.

Schön, dass diese meine Gäste den Garten loben. Dieser und auch unsere Einrichtungen für die Gäste werden selbstverständlich laufend gepflegt und verbessert. Gäste, die den Trubel am Balaton und einen Pool im Garten begrüßen sind in meinen Häusern aber vielleicht wirklich nicht glücklich, weil uns und unsere Gäste die Ruhe und die einzigartige Natur lockt - das ist vielleicht auch das, was viele positiv als "Ungarn entsprechend" empfinden:)

Happy again all around
I was at Haus Siggi with friends for the umpteenth time. I'm 22 and we find everything here: idyllic and peaceful surroundings, opportunities for cycling and hiking from the house, culture in Kestelhey (castle and museum), trips to almost untouched nature. Lakes for swimming nearby, at Vadaso Lake (2 km from the house) small snack bars with delicious specialties, also at Barastyán Lake. Things like WiFi, washing machine, dryer and kitchen appliances are also important to us, sun loungers, bikes, the beautiful garden where you can also have a great barbecue. Mrs. Hagemann was always available and gave us many good tips. Hiking maps and travel guides in the house. Caretaker also available at all times. The fruits in the garden are also delicious (apples, grapes, figs, blackberries!)
In short, we were completely satisfied again and are already looking forward to the next time.

We, a couple in our 50s with a dog, have already spent several vacations in the holiday home Siggi. We always like it there because first and foremost, there is heavenly peace, surrounded by forest and fields - simply wonderful!!!
The house, a lovingly restored original Hungarian farmhouse, is simple but practical and functional, and can accommodate several people. Everything you need is available: stove with oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, fridge-freezer, bathroom with shower, a washing machine and dryer, television and fireplace in the living room.... as well as Wi-Fi!
In the fenced garden, there is a small cozy seating area under trees, where you can sit comfortably in the summer heat. A barbecue is also available.
The geographical location of the holiday home is great. An ideal starting point for excursions, such as Lake Balaton (about an hour's drive), Kis Balaton, buffalo reserve, museum villages (some very close by), many thermal baths, such as Körmend, Szentgotthard, Lenti..., Slovenia and Austria just a stone's throw away.
There are also good swimming and fishing opportunities in the immediate vicinity, Vadasa-Too (15-20 minutes' walk through the forest), Borostyan-Too, Harras-Too.
You can find very good shopping opportunities in Körmend, with many supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, drugstores and many other shops, restaurants, petrol stations, and a farmers market once or twice a week.
We really like it at the holiday home Siggi, so we will gladly come back!

Simply incredibly idyllic
If you are looking for peace, nature and an authentic Hungary, this is the place for you. It could hardly be more beautiful. The dogs can run around in the garden, adults and children can swim in the two nearby lakes, and in the evening you can barbecue or watch VHS James Bond in the comfort of the wood-burning stove. The surroundings are really fantastic! We always love to come back!

Enjoy peace and quiet
We enjoyed 10 days at the Siggi holiday home:
chilled in the garden - in a wonderful arbour with WOOD furniture...,
Practised yoga in the living room with a view of the garden - dreamlike.
Harvested grapes and apples.
We were pleased with the good equipment with washing machine, dishwasher, dryer. The welcome - also for two big dogs. The super support - the landlady was always there for questions. Always. Thank you for that. Recommended excursions - castle park in Körmend - it's brilliant and really wide, big and wild. The round around the Amber Lake - you walk quickly for about 1.5 hours and enjoy the jungle feeling in parts.
We have recommended the house for holidaymakers with dogs who are looking for a quiet break.

Relaxing and peaceful nature vacation
Lovingly furnished and cozy holiday home with a charming garden and everything you need (bicycles are even available). We had a wonderful time here with our two dogs and took long walks. The nearby bathing lake (Barastyán Tó) is highly recommended, it is also suitable for hiking, fishing and boating. The surroundings offer many opportunities for relaxation in nature, but the spas in Körmend and St.Gotthardt are also highly recommended.
Highly recommended, we will definitely come back!
