Opened in April 2015, Residence Etoile de Mer is situated right by the sea dike and features various types of apartments. There's a 4-person type (FR-59123-02) and a 6-person type (FR-59123-03). Both apartments have two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed, mainly suitable for children. In addition to the two bedrooms, the FR-59123-03 features another sleeping area with a bunk bed. All apartments are modern and comfortably furnished. For example, there's a dishwasher, a combination microwave and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Some of the apartments have a separate toilet. All apartments have a balcony with garden furniture and a full view of the sea.

Completed at the end of 2014, Residence Etoile de Mer is uniquely situated, directly on the sea wall at the edge of the charming center of the lively seaside town of Bray-Dunes. In front of your door is a vast and wide sandy beach and the sea. Just steps away you'll find entertainment in cafes, restaurants or shops. There are also opportunities for nature enthusiasts. An extensive, protected dune reserve begins only 200 m. from the residence.
At Bray-Dunes, you experience the best of the Belgian coast, with the peacefulness of the northern French coast. It is located about 4 km from the seaside resort of De Panne. Plopsaland De Panne is located 5 km away. Nearby, there is more than enough to do, both in the culinary (several restaurants and cafés) and cultural (museums including the Musée d'Art Contemporain de Dunkerque) area. You will fine several bunkers there and other relics from WWII. In addition to the dunes near the residence, nature lovers can visit the pristine dunes of De Westhoek. This is a nature area of 565 hectares between Bray-Dunes and De Panne. Another attraction is La Dune Marchand, a protected area that connects Bray-Dunes with Dunkirk.
There are various activities organized throughout the year in the Bray-Dunes area. The highlight is the annual folklore festival in July. There is also a huge parade, music festival, horse animation, a classic car expo, \"bal populaire\", a sandcastle contest and much more.
In the small village of Ghyvelde, about 6 minutes from Bray-Dunes, is the discovery farm \"Le Camelus.\" Here you will find 40 different species of animals such as llamas, buffalo, rheas and goats, and also ostriches, donkeys and rabbits. At about 15 km from Bray-Dunes lies the town of Coudekerque. Here you will find the golf course \"Golf de Dunkerque Grand Littoral\".
And for lovers of sun, sea and sand; you just have to step out of the door and you have everything at hand.
Residence Etoile de Mer is a modern residence located virtually on the beach, at the edge of the center of the lively seaside resort of Bray-Dunes. A great destination for people who enjoy sun, sea, beach, entertainment, culture and nature.
The reception is taken care of from a distance and handled from a central location. There is a manager living in the vicinity of the residence, but normally he isn'tpresent at the residence.
Afther making the booking you will recieve a bill from the holidaypark for the costs on side. The holiday park is asking to pay before arrival to make the incheck more easy.
You can park in the public parking lot in front of the building, or in the streets around the building (free).

Location of the apartment is good, with sea view on the promenade. Our experience was bad because when booking it said that W|FI was available, we selected that too. When we arrived it turned out that there was no Wifi possible and the range of the telephone was so bad within the apartment that it was impossible to get an internet connection inside. Complaining to reception yielded nothing. It was said that we should have booked through their own site for full information and that we could possibly get another apartment with Wifi but no sea view that we paid for. Furthermore, the apartment was not clean, the clock didn't work, the light the bathroom does not work. There is nothing available in terms of ingredients, no sugar, pepper, salt, coffee, etc. So you really have to buy everything yourself. Only a cleaning package is offered with a number of dishwasher tablets, cleaning agent and dishcloths. The balcony is much smaller than in the picture. You can hardly sit there with 2 people at the same time. There is only 1 key available for an apartment that is suitable for 6 people. This means that you can never enter the house separately from each other and always have to leave at the same time. The front door only closes with a key. So if someone is still in bed and someone else wants to leave there is no other choice to leave the door open and strangers could enter the house or lock the door which is not safe in case of calamity because the house cannot be left. All in all, not a pleasant experience. To top it off, there is no possibility at Belvilla to submit a complaint or to contact us. We will therefore no longer book here.

A very nice apartment. Unfortunately, I have to say that the apartment could have been cleaner. Glasses in the cabinet were dirty despite dishwasher, cobwebs and stamens of the lamps and under the parents' bed the last time was not cleaned. But I would visit this apartment again and have already recommended it. But always with the addition could be cleaner!
