The town center rests at 6 km if you wish to enjoy wandering and witnessing the streetscape.

A very cozy, picturesque house with a beautiful, flowery garden. Nice terrace for outdoor dining with a view of the pool and the countryside. We were welcomed by a friendly lady and treated with an aperitif, homemade terrine and a basket full of delicious vegetables from the garden. I made a ratatouille out of it, which can't match at home.
A house with swimming pool with lots of privacy and tranquility. You are surrounded by nature, we even had a visit from a deer.
In short: a very nice stay for our family. Definitely something to return to.
Not far from Villefranche sur Périgord, where you can buy fresh bread and groceries. There are also 2 very good restaurants there!

Upon arrival we were immediately welcomed by a very friendly hostess a basket full of fresh vegetables from our own garden.The house itself meets all expectations (both above and below full bathroom, small but practical kitchen ...), outside you have a cozy garden / terrace and a large swimming pool. Small local shops can be found in the neighboring village (Villefranche-du-Périgord), for large supermarkets it is a little further away (but you will pass if you are on your way to visit the city). The only minus, if one has to be given, is the lack of wifi / 4G.

We have been here with our family and friends (4 adults, a toddler and a dog) and the house was more than spacious.
The welcome from Sylvie was very warm and we got fresh vegetables from her own garden.
The pool was cleaned every day and if we had any questions communication was very quick via email.

Friendly welcome, we asked for an extra umbrella as they predicted a hot week (40 C) and a little later it was er.Verder a well-maintained house, the highlight is the beautiful large swimming pool. Only downside was the lack of fly windows. At 30 to 60 minutes drive there are many beautiful places to discover: Monflaquin, Monpazier, Bergerac, Sarlat, Castelnaud, Beynac-et-Cazenac, ..

Friendly welcome at our arrival, The lady of the rented house was waiting for us to drive to the last part of the road to show our rental house. She was very friendly and even brought vegetables from her garden. The pool was cleaned every morning before 7am and the water was very soft for the skin. The house is situated in a very quiet area, far from all the crowds. The kitchen is well equipped, even with a food processor. The accommodation was fine and Ms. was very helpful if there was a problem. In short, a wonderful holiday!

We missed Topic Travel's last bit of directions. When leaving the town of Besse at the church follow the street sign "L" Aguillou "(second exit left and then right to the right). You drive between some houses (right to the owner's house). splitting to the right (not driving down), possibly calling the owner Two points of interest 1 - We were received most of the time. We got a basket of products from our own garden including eggs and tomatoes. Point 2 - My brother got injured on his head. owner called a GP we could ride with us for her car, and stayed with us all the time (referring to the general practitioner). Two minuses point 1 - In the house, nothing was found of previous visitors left behind or provided by the owner such as pepper and salt, dishwasher, dishwasher, no fabrics at the can. No air freshener at the toilets (the toilets have no ventilation). Point 2 - Friday we had cleaned the house. She arrived on Saturday, just before departure, and found nothing clean. We therefore had to pay the full cleaning fee. Just say that cleaning costs are mandatory. Then we could have saved our work from Friday.

We received a tour and clear explanation at the house and pool, many local tips (markets, restaurants, walks ...) and a welcome basket with wine, bread, lettuce, duck pate ... It was a very warm welcome! extremely calm location (there is no view) in the middle of the rolling grass and forest slopes. The nearest village with gas station / ATM / supermarket is Villefranche (5 "by car). We have made trips to other towns but this is a short drive.

We had a wonderful, relaxing holiday in this fine home that is fully equipped. The house is ideal with small children (cot and highchair), which enjoyed the pool, slide, sandbox and swings. The house is in a small town and you should always drive to get bread or run errands. Nearest town was 10 minutes which was a bakery and small supermarket. For the large shopping you have to Fumel and that's quite a ride. Friendly owners who came along when there was something. Language is French and therefore it was sometimes difficult to begrijpen.Omgeving together is nice and the house is very liked, definitely worth repeating!

The pool house Besse in the Dordogne was great. Located on a backroads, so wonderfully free! The house was fully equipped! The setting is magnificent. Many forests. 40 km. away is a nice town, Sarlat, where Saturday is a nice (large) market. The nearby village of Villefranche du Périgord is idyllic. There you delicious French food at La Petite Auberge. With friendly owners. In short, worth repeating !!

It was a very pleasant stay in the cottage. Nice and quiet, perfect for the kids who enjoyed the pool, sand pit and swing. Every day, some villages in the area, an hour's drive to Bergerac for a trip ... Top !! And a very friendly hostess during the first night, when a storm broke, immediately came to see if we still had power. Worth repeating!

If you are looking for peace (RUST!) This is it. House is very complete. Just think of bath, bed and kitchen linen. Sylvie is very enthusiastic and very French. But one phone call and she comes. It is therefore remote so all activities are at least half an hour away. It is exactly between the Lot and the Dordogne. Everywhere you can find wine, foie gras, walnuts and archaeological sites. Absolutely recommended.

This holiday is a great place to completely unwind. Enjoy the silence, the beautiful starry sky, the fantastic pool and beautiful surroundings. The property has an excellent price / performance ratio. French standards good beds (box spring) and a fine kitchen and bathroom. The second bathroom is sober but functional. There should be invested in comfort. Pool is quite large, clean, and well lighted. You really have here a lot of privacy!

The cottage is fully equipped, everything you need in the kitchen was there. The pool is large enough to accommodate an entire campsite but is all to yourself. Everything is enclosed with shrubs and fences so that our dog could also have a good time. The peace and quiet is fantastic, and in the evening it is so dark that you can see the whole starry sky. All in all, we had a super holiday!

The house was not too bad compared to the photos on the site. It is wonderfully private, a nice table tennis table under a very large roof and a nice swimming pool (chlorine). We did not have super nice weather so that is a shame but had a nice time here.

Friendly welcome, we asked for an extra umbrella as they predicted a hot week (40 C) and a little later it was er.Verder a well-maintained house, the highlight is the beautiful large swimming pool. Only downside was the lack of fly windows. At 30 to 60 minutes drive there are many beautiful places to discover: Monflaquin, Monpazier, Bergerac, Sarlat, Castelnaud, Beynac-et-Cazenac, ..

The cottage is fully equipped, everything you need in the kitchen was there. The pool is large enough to accommodate an entire campsite but is all to yourself. Everything is enclosed with shrubs and fences so that our dog could also have a good time. The peace and quiet is fantastic, and in the evening it is so dark that you can see the whole starry sky. All in all, we had a super holiday!

It was a very pleasant stay in the cottage. Nice and quiet, perfect for the kids who enjoyed the pool, sand pit and swing. Every day, some villages in the area, an hour's drive to Bergerac for a trip ... Top !! And a very friendly hostess during the first night, when a storm broke, immediately came to see if we still had power. Worth repeating!
