Beautifully situated holiday, quiet, and very good for trips and walks in the southern part of the black forest. Very friendly owners, the table was covered on arrival and they had our own freshly baked bread. When we asked them where there was a bakery nearby, they have ensured that our bakery every morning a freshly baked bread delivered. The dogs were also welcome. Very clean house. Highly recommended. Despite the bad weather, lots of rain, fog and even snow, we have a good time in the area. Basel, the Wutachschlucht, tobogganing and waterfall in Todtnau, the waterfalls of Schaffhausen, walking in Todtmoos and Bad Säckingen and play in the snow at the Feldberg (in May). On the last day we saw just how beautiful the house, further week in the fog. I think that here in the winter quite beautiful. Nearby in Wehrhalder court's good to eat. The only downside to the "house" I found the rather moderate seating area, where you have 5 people are not really comfortable zit.Verder a good starting point for things to do in the area, especially walking.

Ideal setting for a family with two small children like us. With walking trails where we could over the pram by a beautiful rolling countryside with farms and forests. The area is dotted with small villages and towns where you can make short trips to. There is a large supermarket about 10 minutes away by car. We stayed on the top floor of Mattenhof Sonnenblick. (That means two steps). In the morning and in the daytime sun on the balcony, but at the end of the afternoon and evening so not. The reception was nice with homemade cinnamon bread, but further communication was somewhat difficult. The owners are busy with their own small business and farmers do not really interfere with the guests. For our two year old son was very nice that he could carry the pig, the cat and the little calf petting and he could play on the toy tractor. The garden is also playing nice in the sandbox, trampoline, swings etc. So all in all a great resort for families with small children who love nature and the tranquility.

This is indeed a aanrader.We had the 6 person floor, consisting of 3 bedrooms, a living and dining bestond.Alles neat, comprehensive and schoon.De eigenaaren are nice and behulpzaam.De area is very beautiful and not as touristy. So for those who like peace and quiet this is ideaal.Het house is located in the south of the Black Forest in the hamlet Wehrhalden and is fairly central for various uitstapjes.Bij the house was also a nice garden area includes a barbeque and tuinhuisje.Heerlijk s "evening barbequed and then the view at sunset geweldig.DOEN? We had a great holiday. But we did not call it again. Of the 10 days were eight rainy days. Many flooding in other parts of the building Duitsland.In - mostly timber - no fire alarms. After a long day of driving we arrived in a clean, spacious, cozy apartment with flowers and fresh bread was on the table. The reception was warm and the beds were made and clean towels and kitchen towels was within reach. We walked, villages \/ towns visited waterfalls and schlussen seen, as well as churches, monasteries and natural pools. With free public transport we (bus and train) in one hour traveling to Basel. By car, we visited places in France. Although it was 37 C outside, the inside was a pleasant temperature, so are the nights when it was 2 C.

Upon arrival there was a table laid with fresh bread, water and milk. The house is located at the end of a dead end road, so very quiet. The apartment where we were (top floor) was spacious and clean, but somewhat dated and has a large south-facing balcony. They are very nice people. On site they have some play equipment for both very young and somewhat older children. It is also possible for a small fee to use internet through Wifi.Het Todtmoos village is 10 minutes drive away, and there are facilities available as a large playground, restaurants, gas station and supermarket.

We were warmly welcomed, the apartment was tidy, flowers on the table and a candle. It was always ready for us and we could even fresh apples, eggs, ... obtained at the farm. The children were allowed to join in the stables at certain times and in the garden is something for everyone (a quiet corner for parents, a large trampoline, sandpit, swing, ... for the kids). We have many walks and excursions done. We enjoyed the peace and beautiful nature.

For the first time in the Black Forest. Beautiful surroundings, walked a lot and enjoyed the cowbells. Excellent apartment and friendly reception. Too bad that the children could not help with the animals, but they were allowed to look at it. Bikes we have taken but not used by the steep paths. Because of the narrow mountain roads very remote, so you're long road to get there, which I found a bit disappointing. But otherwise had a wonderful holiday.

Great apartment, spacious, clean. However, you sit 3 high and do not sit outside so easily i.e. garden. Although the balcony (lugging towards houses) is long but not wide, it is not suitable for eating outside at a table ... with more than 2 people. the location is wonderfully quiet. When you sit in the apartment you have almost no view. There are 2 skylights, so if you stand, you have a magnificent view. The bathroom is fine, a pity that the only toilet is in the bathroom and not separate.
