Fantastic beautiful view in a nice cottage. You can sit well in front of and behind the cottage. Everything is present, except a coffee machine. When I asked for this, the owner Peter arranged one. Top. You can make beautiful walks from the cottage, hiking maps are available. The welcome is warm and your stuff is brought up on a special trolley.

Two weeks in August 2014, we were in Saflischgarten Heilig Kreuzenstein (Switzerland). The cottage is situated above the village, in a group of four cottages two of which are refurbished it and the house of the owner. The last bit you go over a walking path to the top. The car remains down (about 5 minutes). As a guest you're completely free. There are two terraces (one front, one rear) and as soon as the sun is gonna find out a place to sit in. Very occasionally there comes a walker passed (approximately 6 per day). And the only thing you hear is the murmur of the brook and cowbells in the distance. Pure romantiek.Wij had a schedule of one day's rest, one day of hiking. The paths run for the cottage along and you do not need the car to start somewhere. We made treks to the Binn Valley hütte, the Blue Lake, the Breithorn, through the mountains to Heiligkreuz etc. The cottage is a map and a walking book. In an hour walk to Binn for some shopping. A nice trip for a day of rest. The Binn Valley is really very beautiful and quiet we noticed when we still made it to the Aletsch Glacier one day. We got a lot more people tegen. We had excellent weather. The rest bra

We had a wonderful time! The cottage is situated in a meadow at 1500 meters. It is part of a uraltern ensembles of memory stalls, and the only habitable it. The owner is planning to expand the other storage sheds on apartments, but that will probably take another, he says, because there is no license for it .... The cottage is very cozy and has an excellent indoor climate (old larch wood, smells good). The fully equipped kitchen we can make good use for cooking and baking bread, Otherwise we were especially out and about, and here the Saflischgarten has much to offer: First, there is a small garden with sun loungers, parasols and awning in front of the cottage. The small fountain with ice-cold spring water does on hot days well: super cool! But the real hammer are the meadows behind the house, the cool forests, the waterfalls (one at the house!) And the steep and challenging trails leading directly at the cottage over. Now and then hikers walked past, Anons is better completely lonely. The nearest shop is a few miles away, and you have to be able to walk well, you want to arrive. We traveled by public transport, and the owner was so looking forward

Beautiful place on the mountain, with thunderous Saflischbach. Everything is in top order. In a beautifully converted, originally farmers summer residence. Helpful sympathetic owners are ready with a caterpillar vehicle to bring the luggage upstairs. A great stay for people who can do without internet. And walking from the front door. And enjoy the environment between the mountains.

After a long drive, and a time journey through the kilometer long, from the rock-hewn tunnel we reached the past, Binn Valley, drove further into the LANGTAL where at the end a few wooden houses, a chapel and our chalet. Located along impressive hiking trails, a superb stone fireplace, soft beds and a view of still being enjoyed a week of this sacred place, a place you will never forget, magic is the right word. I would like to return, to write a book, or even higher to climb to the Blaumeer now because the snow was not accessible. Getting back with open mouth to admire the impressive nature of lichens to mushrooms, the gold colored larch, sawn mountain peaks all around under a starry sky. This is an exceptional place where everyone once in z "s life must go gaan.Voor more stories about this place, check out my blog: http://www.architectgeertverbruggen.blogspot.be/2012/10/heiligkreuz-dag- 1.html

We were greeted very friendly and the owner even brought our luggage up with his tracked vehicle. For disabled people, this accommodation is definitely not suitable. The quaint house from the 18th century was exactly what we wanted and what we expected. The house is located at the end of a side valley of the Binntales slightly elevated on the southern side of the valley. For the parking space about 50 meters below the house you get an entry permit from the owner, which must be deposited visible in the vehicle. The way to the house is quite steep. It is by no means to the house by car. From the top you have a beautiful view of the hamlet of Heiligkreuz. The area offers many hiking trails. One of them leads past the hut but is committed very little. At any rate, we did not feel bothered by it. However, if you have a dog with you like this, I recommend keeping it on a leash in order to avoid conflicts. Kudos to the owner, who has taken a lot of time for us. The wood, which is available to BV, we used to heat the ancient stove. And we were amazed, how well it works and how long he keeps the heat. Overall, it was a round, harmonious and relaxing holiday with nice people in beautiful surroundings.

After an exciting ride through the Furka Pass, arrived in Heiligkreuz Binn Valley. Peter, the very friendly owner, we all waited for the last (steep) steps to the cottage. Fortunately the owner had a handy trolley to take up our luggage, otherwise would have still been a challenge ... The cottage was even better than we expected, incredibly clean and feature many amenities! Fine cuisine, good living / dining area, a nice lounge sofa, a very wide and comfortable bunk beds and wonderful views. The bathroom is very efficient setup with a good shower that works via a water heater, a shower schedule so long douchers is advisable, especially if you still want to wash. Though it is not long until the tank is full again. A nice surprise was the backyard with garden furniture which appeared in the morning on an overcast day the sun so that you could ontbijten.De nice location is wonderfully quiet, occasionally there will be even a walker passed. It is therefore a good starting point for many beautiful walks, we have one time used the car to go to the Aletsch Glacier. We enjoyed a very pleasant holiday. We were the 2 of us together with our dog, and the pretty small house was just perfect for us. I reckon it would also be very suitable with 2 small children. We enjoyed the opportunity to heat with a wood oven and even cook on it. But no worries, if you are too tired there is also an electrical heater and all kitchen amenities. All in all i would recommend this location to hikers or anyone who wants to spend some time off the common tracks.

Cosy cottage in a fantastic location in the countryside between the mountains. You should not be afraid of silence and no people around you. Note the low doorways in the house. Around the house is very steep and the path to the cottage every trip needs to be climbed, as the car can be parked outside the house. Good for the condition. We were in June: beautiful flowers around the house and many species of butterflies. In addition, lizards and golden eagles. Ideal for photography enthusiasts. For the second time we rented this cottage since last year there have only been a week and not all hikes had walked. Here you can really get a taste for living in the Swiss Alps. The chalet is simple, cozy and yet within easy reach. There is a lovely lounge sofa so you can relax or read a book at 'evenings or on a rainy day. The kitchen is complete with a fine oven and the shower is fine too (now with a heater). Lovers of hiking are perfect here. as you walk from the cottage so up to a beautiful hoogvlaktedal at 2,000 meters from where you can be on several fronts. In addition you can make loads of beautiful mountain walks around Binn. A map is available at the cottage. Peter and his wife also very welcoming. Here you can really unwind.

Wonderful place to really unwind. From the parking to the little house is a very steep climb and fortunately the owner brought our stuff in a wheelbarrow tracked on arrival up but down when we went back home. On the front is a wooden table just behind the house for a surprise because there was a grassy garden with table and comfortable seating. Deck chairs and umbrella were there too. Our dog has as much as we enjoyed the space and the environment. Upon arrival on 17 June the temperature was 8 degrees the day it was getting better and finally we had there a few sunny days of 35 degrees! There is a very nice stove to create making it nice and warm in the living / bedroom and you love to be read on the 2 seater sofa lie. Not really suitable for small children, which is very dangerous, because of afgrond.Huisje is equipped with all necessary comforts, close to beautiful hiking 's in a beautiful part of Valais, for real hikers and nature lovers a must! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this extremely comfortable chalet. The cozy, compact home has everything for a family of four. It is perfect to head straight into the mountains for invigorating walks. You will be completely relaxed by the beautiful view of the mountains and the splashing of the river. Another plus is that you can enjoy a delicious meal nearby in a cozy guesthouse. The chalet is practically furnished. This address is highly recommended for those looking for peace and quiet in the middle of nature.

In late July, we drove the Binn Valley in search of our temporary residence Heiligkreuz. After some searching (may be better indicated) we saw our house sitting atop the mountain. When booking you make a show about what it will be, and often falls upon arrival still disappointing. But here really do not. What a house, what a view. A cottage with the charm of old and in with the luxury of today. We could not leave our house as real hikers enjoy a cold beer after a strenuous hike. Sit in the sun If you have enough food and drinks you can take your car parked all week. Every day you can make a different walk from your cottage. And that even honest people live here is evident from the fact that our bikes all week could sit without our kmteller, bike bag or got worse taken off our bike.

Beautiful refurbished cabin fully equipped (shower, toilet, 4 electric hotplates). A waterfall in the vootuin, overlooking the valley in the backyard. Highly recommended, especially if you do not feel like a hundred other tourists in some hotel to sit. A car is very useful (nearest mini supermarket is an hour's walk), but for making nice walk, you do not ver.En the nicest in the house: the heating of the stove! (From 1741 or so ...).

Several hiking trails directly from the house!

The kitchen is great with a super oven where our captured afbakbroodjes beautiful brown out appeared.

In the cottage is a beautiful soapstone stove from 1741, which is heated with logs from the kitchen. We have good use of it because it is "night was still quite cold. The wood for this is completely free and is cleaved and already behind the cottage. Nice house in the middle of a beautiful walking area, Welcoming reception and everything present in the house, Nice spacious inside and nice that the dogs were allowed, Garden has a hedge on the side of the road, no fence, Just be careful with the dogs as the hedge is not yet in bloom, early spring,

Beautifully situated lhuisje fear-through mountain trail. Only accessible on foot. Lovely spot. Quietly. Wonderful starting point for hikes op.Heiligkreuz all sides, adds not much, has little atmosphere to the electricity production and business cable lift to the upper reservoir.

Our holiday in Saflischgarten was delicious! The cottage is very suitable for nature lovers and hikers like us. We have all mountain walks from the house run. It is a beautiful area with many well-marked trails. A real winner! The cottage was very clean and almost all facilities were good.
