This cozy detached wooden chalet for a maximum of 5 people is located on the outskirts of the small village of Bister in the canton of Valais, across from the well-known Aletsch Arena ski area.
The chalet is in a wonderfully quiet location and offers a wonderful view of the surrounding mountain landscape. You live on the ground floor and the 1st floor (50 m2 in total) with living/bedroom, kitchen, another bedroom, bathroom, terrace and balcony and can also use the garden.
The Aletsch Arena ski area in Mörel-Filet with 104 kilometers of slopes can be reached in a few minutes. Bister is the smallest municipality in Valais and offers a beautiful view of the Valais Alps. In summer there are many activities in the vicinity on the Blatten-Belalp: canyoning, climbing, scooter bikes, biking and much more for summer sports enthusiasts. You will find lots of bathing fun in the bathing lake in the witches' cauldron in Blatten.

There was no TV.
There was also no wifi and that is no longer of this time.

We were there in the winter and have used at the turn of the balcony with a perfect view of the fireworks on the mountain pastures. We were happy and enjoyed the quiet.

The interior of the house is very dated and we were shocked at the beginning.
As far as we are concerned, not of this time.
We had perfect weather all week, so we were on the road a lot and not in the house.

Everything was what we expected. Super neat. Super quiet area. Small comment: on the Belvilla website it says that the owner would speak German / French. This is NOT the case. German only. We manage, but starting a conversation in German is not an option for us. A little French or English would have been nice.

We were kindly received by the homeowner. The cottage is clean and cozy. The decor is simple, but all necessary things are present. There was absolute rest in the area. This combined with the beautiful view across the valley made the stay very enjoyable. Hanneke and Hans

Have been here a week which would be sufficient, small house with a small terrace, cows close to causing a lot of fly zaten.Balkon there was just a little too small for the three of kitchen and bathroom are downstairs and one slaapkamer.Andere beds are in the living room. Kitchen was well equipped. What was included in the description but was not present, the washing machine.

Creuzacker in Bister is a favorable starting point for hikes in the Aletsch glacier area, Binn Valley, Goms region of Brig. Lovely view of the slopes around Ried-Mörel, Greich, and Goppisberg Betten. Beautiful, quiet location and yet in just 5 minutes by car from the ground station of the cableway to Riederalp and from the train. We very much enjoyed the peace that still reigns in June on most routes. The flowers on the mountain pastures in this season at the most. The cottage offered a great place to unwind after hiking.

friendly helpful landlords; the car could not be parked at the house, which was a shame. We left earlier because the electromagnetic radiation was too strong despite the absence of wifi. However, we made 2 beautiful walks, Riederalp and Grächen. Small, cozy cottage, very clean.

In beautiful area located basal furnished house, run by the warmest owner. With alpine meadows full of flowers, the great Aletsch glacier around the corner, great hiking, cycling and mountain biking trails that start at the door, this is a great starting point for people who are less attached to large luxury. Weekly drive to Italy once for groceries is worth.

In spite of Upper Valais which hit again enjoyed the many walks around the Aletsch Glacier, near the Simplon pass and the Binn Valley. If the weather is within reach Italy via the Simplon Pass. . Also a lot of fun with the music culture in Brig (Brass Music and Naters (Jodler festival) The cows around the house made it completely do not care about the sound of the bells - they have the same circadian rhythm as we do.

We were kindly received and well informed. The cottage is beautifully situated, on a quiet road. The terrace was (in October) sunny until about 18 o'clock. The interior of the cottage is simple, the kitchen is well equipped. In the vicinity there are many hiking opportunities, also at high altitude (through Seilbahnen and pass roads).

Abendruh is a sober furnished house for 4 persons slightly on the tight side, but doable. We made beautiful walks in the area, including along the Aletsch glacier at 2700m altitude. For example, the cottage offers no luxury, there is no washing machine. However, the area offers plenty of opportunities for walking and that was reason enough for us to stay there. We booked this house to be able to ski in the Aletsch Arena. The property is 3 minutes' drive from the gondola to Riederalp. The property is advantageous and so we verwchten not a luxury. That there was not. Simple kitchen and bathroom, simple design. You can call it dated, but also found that the owners deal with sustainable materials. We think the latter. The house was spotless and really everything you were looking for was in the closet. The hostess is very friendly. Actually a very charming house for people who do not shy away from a mobile electric heater and sober bathroom.

Communication with the landlady works wonderfully. Very friendly. Parking in front of the chalet. Very clean and the most important thing is there. A chalet for yourself for little money. The view is beautiful. Departure also uncomplicated. We would love to come back :)
