Lakes and mountains go together like strawberries and chocolate. And when it comes to both, the Bernese Oberland sparkles. Blausee, a scenic lake in the Kander valley, is great for a day out. Diemtigtal Nature Park is good for hiking and skiing. You can drive from Bern to Thun to see the scenic beauty. In the Bernese Highlands, all kinds of water sports and leisurely walks are also possible. You can catch the beauty of the Alps where nerve-racking climbing, hiking, paragliding and white water rafting await.

We had a great week. The interior is simple but complete. And very importantly, the beds sleep. Excellent starting point for excursions. The owners are very helpful and welcoming.

We have been very kind and have really enjoyed this accommodation for 2 weeks. It is in a beautiful old house and we had 3 bedrooms which was ideal for 3 adults. The decor was very neat and we had everything at our disposal to have 2 good weeks. The location was ideal, you were so in the mountains, the lakes and in Bern. The people were very friendly and helpful and everything was kept very neat. Would definitely recommend if you want to be in the mountains, but also want to shop in Bern.

It was pleasantly arriving in Frutingen. The house is beautifully situated in the valley with views of the mountains. The house has 3 bedrooms which is very practical. The children both have their own room. The house is homely classified and has a lot of storage space which is handy. The kitchen is old but it works properly.
