Description
A fully equipped holiday home incl. barbecue pavilion and sunbathing lawn is available to our guests. The house with its 80m² over two floors is ideal for holiday guests who are looking for relaxation and recreation in a quiet and pleasant atmosphere.
On the 1st floor is the entrance area, the kitchen and the bathroom. On the 2nd floor there is the bedroom, the living room and a relaxation area.
Water fun
The nearest bathing possibilities are at the Seebusch in Schwarz (approx. 4,5 km), in the village Diemitz at the Vilzsee (approx. 10 km), at the Peetschsee and the Schulzensee in Peetsch (approx. 6,2 km) and at the Mirower Strand (approx. 2,3 km).
Boat and fishing trips
Because of the many lakes in this region, Mirow offers very interesting and relaxing steamboat trips in the direction of Rheinsberg or in the direction of the water lily paradise.
If you want to be a captain yourself, you can rent a small boat in Mirow and set sail to explore the Mecklenburg Lake District.
Fishing enthusiasts can buy a fishing permit from the fisherman and indulge in their hobby on the many lakes.

The town of Mirow
Mirow is the birthplace of the English Queen Sophie Charlotte (1744-1818). The town lies in the middle of the beautiful natural and lake landscape of the Mecklenburg Lake District. The castle island with the historic gatehouse, built in 1588, the residential castle and the Johanniterkirche (St. John's Church) invites you to marvel and linger. Due to its proximity to the Müritz-Havel Canal, Mirow offers ideal conditions for all kinds of water sports. Natural hiking and forest trails appeal to interested hikers, cyclists, horse riders and nature lovers. An exploration of the HOLM peninsula by bicycle or as a hike would be recommended here. In addition, the nature lover gets to see a rich animal and plant world.

The holiday home located in Mirowdorf, Lärzer Str. 5 is situated on the Müritz-Havel Waterway (MHW) and borders Mirow to the north-east.
The entrance to the holiday home is in Birkenstraße. A visit to the Mirower Schleuse (Mirow lock) is highly recommended for guests interested in maritime matters. The lock is approx. 200m away and invites you to take a leisurely stroll.

A beautiful vacation accommodation
As described, the holiday home is fully equipped. Everything was handed over very clean and very friendly by the owner of the house.
We didn't always have perfect bathing weather in the 7 days, so on cloudy days we could enjoy the house and garden in peace and our grandchild (8 years old) was well entertained thanks to the play options. There are extensive leisure activities in the area, unfortunately the bathing areas are a bit off the beaten path.
An evening walk is always possible, the main interest was in the nearby lock. Within walking distance you can reach the town center, the beautiful castle island, the fish snack bar, and the ice cream parlor.
Next time we will bring bicycles, there is still so much to discover.
