Two children, two adults, both landlords were very friendly and accommodating! The house inside was beautifully decorated with all the inventory you need! Air conditioning was not necessary, it was very comfortable even without it! Even outside on the veranda! The pool was very clean and the garden was lovingly designed! We really liked the house, it was typical for the country and had a very beautiful garden. The landlord, who lives right next door (meaning you are not completely alone), was very friendly and helpful. The only thing that disturbed us occasionally at night was the barking of the landlord's dogs. We mentioned it to him, and he brought the dogs inside at night. Otherwise, everything was perfect and as described.

Thanks to the many tips from the host, who is incredibly accommodating, we discovered many new places and taverns in Crete. By the way, we can only recommend going to Crete. We were received very kindly and friendly everywhere. The Rotokritis house has a special charm and despite the heat in July, it was very pleasant in the house. We miss the warm evenings on the terrace with the beautiful lighting all around. The starry sky also seemed much brighter to us.........

We went on vacation away from mass tourism for the first time and were thrilled. However, you should definitely have a car with you. The house in Cretan style was simple, but wonderful. There were two of us, so everything was perfectly adequate. It would be quite tight for five people. In early May, we had great weather, so we could already swim in the freshly filled pool. The landlord and his two lovely dogs were very nice and always ready for a chat and some cuddles. He gave us good advice for activities and restaurant visits.

We (family with 13-year-old daughter) felt comfortable in the Rotokritos house from the very first moment. The lovingly maintained grounds, the blooming garden, the charm of the old buildings, as well as the very authentic and lovingly furnished holiday apartment made us forget about everyday life. The pool was also very well-kept and we used it extensively. The hosts, Pandelis and his family, welcomed us very warmly and supported us in every way. The good insider tips for excursions and restaurants enriched our holiday very much. The surroundings are pleasantly quiet and in the evenings you can enjoy a great view of the starry sky in romantic lighting. A bit of nighttime barking from the neighborhood dogs is also part of Greek rural life. It didn't bother us. Speaking of dogs, we must not forget the two very sociable and well-behaved dogs of the hosts, who won our hearts with their friendly nature from the beginning. All in all, a completely successful holiday full of joy!

We were a family of four (2 adults and 2 young children) staying in the accommodation in the little village of Loutra on Crete, and it was one of the most beautiful holidays we have ever had. We were warmly welcomed by the hospitable owner Pandelis and were very grateful for the many helpful tips regarding culture, food, and sights. The accommodation is situated in an old building with a beautiful garden. The children (and the adults, of course) really enjoyed the private pool. The rooms are not very large, but are completely sufficient for a family of four. Not to forget the two friendly dogs that our children immediately took to their hearts. The memorable and entertaining evenings spent with the host himself over Greek wine will stay with us forever. This will not be the last time for us.

The rustic holiday home in a country style offers ideal conditions for a quiet and relaxing individual (family) holiday away from mass tourism, especially in fine weather. We really enjoyed it! Very well-maintained outdoor area with many plants and a clean pool area with sun loungers and umbrellas. The landlord has very good English skills and provides good recommendations for sights and beaches. The landlord couple lives on the property and is always present, but discreet and very friendly. Guests have exclusive use of the pool, and a large grill can be used. There are 2 small dogs on the property, lively but absolutely child-friendly and harmless. The holiday home is best suited for summer and autumn. A bakery is within walking distance, supermarkets, other facilities, and sandy beaches on the north coast can be reached within a few minutes by car.

The house is clean and charmingly furnished. The atmosphere of the courtyard is "unbeatable". From the balcony of the house, you can enjoy the sunsets with sea views and a light breeze. The 220-year-old renovated holiday home in the village of Loutra is very quaint. A beautiful beach is less than 10 minutes away by car. The pool was a great way to cool off in the afternoon, especially for the children. The landlord's dogs, who live on the property, were great playmates for the children. The landlord (speaks excellent English and his son very good German) always had good tips for evening visits to taverns, especially good was "Galera" near Rethymno. The house impresses with its quiet location on one hand and its proximity to the beach and Rethymno on the other.

We liked the domicile very much. The owner is always available with help and advice and tries to make life as pleasant as possible. The location is ideal for going to one of the numerous beaches or excursions in the surrounding area (also to the south). We also liked the bakery around the corner, i.e. we had fresh rolls/bread every morning. We also loved the mongrel dog Tommy, who looked after us on the property.

My title is "Reconciliation" because after a week's holiday on the coast near Kalives in Loutra, we finally found the Greece we had been looking for. So: no lovelessly overdeveloped landscape, no roadsides littered with rubbish, no road noise, no deforested and not reforested mountain slopes... but all that which the other comments also describe and which should not be repeated here. One more addition: It is pleasant that Jassu is able to reflect both the objective conditions and the subjectively perceived mood in the description of the object!

This is the second time we have spent our holiday in Loutra. The two flats are located in separate parts of a former oil mill, are lovingly furnished and offer everything for a relaxing holiday from the first minute. Together with the well-kept pool and the courtyard and garden area, the landlord has created a Cretan oasis: Far away from mass tourism and still within reach (10 min by car) of the beach, supermarkets, tavernas, etc. The cordiality of the landlord and his family cannot be emphasised enough, who lovingly take care of their guests with words and deeds. We (family with two children and a cat) stayed for three weeks in the wonderful holiday home of the Apostolakis family in the idyllic village of Loutra. Pandelis always gave us great tips for excursions. The house on the hillside is furnished with a lot of love. The pool was always a good place to cool down before and after our excursions. The house is a small oasis of peace and relaxation. There are very beautiful beaches and bays in the immediate vicinity as well as nice tavernas. We can recommend the house without any restrictions! Apart from the good location, the cool house and the beautiful garden with its pool, the human warmth and hospitality of Pandelis and his family is particularly noteworthy.

The owner is trying to restore the original character. It is fully equipped and the decoration fits perfectly. The collection of empty bottles and traces of renovation work did not bother us. It is a residential house that belongs in the village, not a usual holiday home that was built later. There were four of us, with two children aged 12 and 14. The size of the flat is adequate. We enjoyed the terrace and the loggia as well as the pool very much and used them regularly. The overall layout of the property is very appealing. A great holiday atmosphere develops. The historic farm is located in the middle of the hilly village and is very lovingly and individually renovated. You have a direct connection to the landlord family and their bright and lovely dog couple. We communicated very well with the son in German and with the landlord in excellent English. You get individual tips for excursions, for the best butcher, fisherman, restaurants etc.. Parking was never a problem near the accommodation. For us it was a very nice holiday. We would love to come back!

Four of us (2 adults and 2 toddlers) stayed in the accommodation in the small village of Loutra in Crete and it was one of the best holidays we have had so far. We were warmly welcomed by the hospitable owner Pandelis and were very grateful for the many very helpful tips about culture, food and sights. The accommodation is very idyllically situated in an old building with a beautiful garden. The children (and adults of course) really enjoyed the private pool. The rooms are not very big, but completely sufficient for a family of four. Not to mention the two hospitable dogs, which our children immediately took to their hearts.

The stimulating and entertaining evenings with the host himself over Greek wine remain unforgettable.

For us, it will not be the last time.

We had a great holiday with Panthelis and his family. The children loved the pool and there was enough space for all of us. The house has everything you need and everything is clean and tidy. We got lots of tips and could always turn to our landlords if anything was wrong. We would come again
