We had a great time at Villa Dimitra. The house is at the quiet part of the village surrounded by nice garden. The owners are super friendly and the beach in Skala is not crowded with nice taverns.

we were there in July 2014 and we liked it very much. The directions and the driveway made it very exciting, but the house is located in the middle of a small mountain village, the owners are very hospitable, provided us with fresh vegetables from their garden, the house is well equipped, 2 bedrooms have air conditioning, 1 without but with a fan, nice large bathroom, a car is absolutely necessary, the most beautiful beach is only a few kilometers away in Chalikounas, the village itself can be reached on foot in a few meters, there are a few taverns and smaller supermarkets. So we felt very comfortable there, it was a great time there.

We booked this property for 2 weeks at the end of August / beginning of September. The arrival was very easy. From Igoumenitsa to Lefkimi in about 1 hour. From there it is about a 30-minute drive. The apartment is well equipped, with a large fridge, oven, and stove from Miele, a bedroom downstairs with a double bed and air conditioning, 2 bedrooms upstairs, one with 2 single beds, one with a double bed and air conditioning. The washing machine (top loader) is also upstairs in the hallway. The upstairs bathroom is spacious with a nice bathtub. The guest toilet downstairs is very narrow (folding door). There are mosquito net blinds on all windows. The house has several balconies, but we didn't use them much because our little daughter reacts strongly to mosquito bites, except for hanging laundry. The access road to the property is unpaved and very narrow (not suitable for large vans). The owners are very nice, they provided us with tomatoes and peppers from the garden and great tips. The house is about 200m from the village center (small supermarket, cafes, 2 restaurants, 1 bakery, ATM), yet totally quiet. Great beaches (especially for small children) can be found a few kilometers further south in Chalikounas, fine sand, very shallow, kilometers long. The beach bar of Simos right at the beginning or about 1000m further the Tayo-Bar are recommended. We often ate at Alonaki, turn right before getting to the gravel road towards Chalikounas. From there it is a few hundred meters.

Very nice house, always the right place to sit on the surrounding balconies, absolutely clean and well maintained. Especially important: completely tight mosquito screens for all windows. Beautiful location, very quiet during the day, a bit louder at night due to the noise from the village and the nearby roosters, but that is normal in the countryside and was no longer disturbing after 2 days. Will definitely come back again.

The holiday home Dimitra is very spacious, has 4 balconies and includes everything you need for a holiday in terms of equipment. We were very satisfied, also with the location near the center of the village. The narrow gate entrance and the narrow path to the house require parking about 100 meters away.

The house is beautiful and spacious! The landlords are friendly! However, the last part of the drive is quite narrow. We just managed to get through with a VW Caddy. It was a bit noisier at night than expected for a mountain village. So, it is advisable to close the windows at night if you want to sleep with them open. Otherwise, as I said, we had a nice vacation there.

The village of Agios Mattheos is located at about 140 meters above sea level in a picturesque location. It's just under 3 km downhill to the sea from the booked house. There are plenty of opportunities for hikers to explore the area and reach beautiful, uncrowded beaches. The house Dimitra is quietly situated a bit away from the town center and is equipped as described in the catalog. The owners are extremely friendly, even though communication is not always easy. We felt very comfortable in this accommodation for the 3 weeks and would definitely book it again.

Lovely, private property within walking distance of the village. Most direct route on foot is a fairly steep path uphill. Be careful you don’t hire a large rental car as the turning into the driveway is quite tight!

Το σπίτι βρίσκεται στο όμορφο χωριό του Αγίου Ματθαίου κοντά στις ομορφότερες παραλίες του νησιού, σε ήσυχη τοποθεσία και κοντά σε όλα τα σημεία ενδιαφέροντος. Είναι πολύ άνετο, καθαρό και λειτουργικό. Οι ιδιοκτήτες είναι πολύ ευγενικοί και ενδιαφέρονται πραγματικά για την ευχάριστη διαμονή των επισκεπτών.

Very nice house, there's always the right place to sit because of the surrounding balconies, absolutely clean and well-maintained. Especially important: completely sealed mosquito screens for all windows. Beautiful location, very quiet during the day, slightly louder at night due to village noise and roosters in the vicinity, but that's normal in the countryside and wasn't annoying after 2 days. We'll definitely come back again.

neat house with good value for money in a rural setting, but still within walking distance of the village with shopping and tavernas. Friendly landlords who provided us with vegetables from their own garden.

The house is beautiful and spacious! The landlords are friendly! However, the last part of the drive is a bit narrow. We barely got through with a VW Caddy. For a mountain village, it was a bit louder at night than expected. So closing the windows at night is advisable. If you want to sleep with the windows open.
Otherwise, as I said, we had a nice holiday there.

Very beautifully and tastefully furnished holiday home for 6 people away from the tourist hustle and bustle. Beautiful bathroom with corner bath! There were two of us there and we felt very comfortable. The price-performance ratio is very good! However, we wondered how you can get to the house with a rental car for 6 people + luggage via the narrow driveway. We had a Ford Fiesta and that was borderline, so don't rent a big car. We will definitely come back.
