This modern farmhouse near Grafenau in the district of Furth is located in the middle of the border triangle.
From here you can reach the cities of Passau, Deggendorf or Waldkirchen in about 40 minutes.
Further excursion / hiking destinations can be reached in approx. 20 min:
Lusen, Rachel, Wild outdoor enclosure, National Park Bay. Forest, tree-egg, summer toboggan run and much more

Super hosts and clean holiday home
The hosts are very friendly, obliging and give good tips for excursions. They make every effort to ensure the well-being of their guests. The house is very nicely and tastefully furnished, is very clean and well equipped. The property is huge and our dog could let off steam in the large meadow behind the house. The hiking trails behind the house were also very inviting. We look forward to visiting Fam. Thoma again.

Entspannen im Bayerischen Wald
Wir haben sehr enspannte zwei Wochen mit viel Natur und bayerischer Gemütlichkeit verbracht. Direkt hinterm Haus kann man eine Wanderung entlang der schönen Ilz starten oder einfach durch den Wald den Flecken Furth umrunden. Darüber hinaus ist man schnell an zahlreichen, mal wilden, mal lieblichen Rund- und Bergwanderwegen im Bayerischen Wald, wobei die Anfahrt durch die kleinen Orte selber schon eine Reise an sich Wert ist. Wer es etwas städtischer mag, ist in ca. 25 Minuten in Passau oder einer guten Stunde in Regensburg. Man kann sich aber auch am Haus unter Obstbäumen in die Sonne legen oder auf der kleinen Terrasse unterm Sonneneschirm sitzen. Unsere Hunde waren mehr als willkommen und hatten sogar ein kleines eingezäuntes Gärtchen zur Verfügung.
Alles Lebensnotwendige bekommt man bei Bäcker (Brötchenservice inkl.), Fleischer und Edeka im nahe und auf dem Berg gelegenen Haus im Wald, abends kann man dort im Jäergerstöckl Essen/Bier trinken oder einfach im gemütlichen Haus am Kamin sitzen und lesen. Das Haus selber ist großzügig ausgestattet, neu und sehr schön eingerichtet - es lässt keine Wünsche offen. Familie Thoma ist ausgesprochen herzlich und zuvorkommend, sodass man einfach eine sehr schöne Zeit erleben kann und wir gerne wiederkommen.

Jederzeit gerne wieder
Unser Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus Thoma war spitzenmäßig!
Gemütliches, stilvoll eingerichtetes, sauberes Ferienhaus, sehr herzliche Gastgeber, schöne naturbelassene Gegend mit naheliegenden Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.
Alles in allem sehr lobenswert und wir können das nächste mal kaum erwarten!

Tolle Zeit in einer super Ferienwohnung!
Wir haben mit unseren beiden Kindern eine tolle Zeit im Bayrischen Wald in einer super Ferienwohnung verbracht. Dabei waren wir schon das zweite Mal bei der Familie Thoma in ihrer Ferienwohnung zu Gast. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet, so dass wir uns in ihr sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Dazu ist die Familie Thoma mit ihrer herzlichen Art ein erstklassiger Gastgeber.

Dear Thoma family, we would like to thank you again for the wonderful and relaxing holiday in your house Thoma. It was wonderfully clean, very warm contact with you and we felt welcome and comfortable every minute. And as you have noticed, we especially enjoyed the wonderful meadow with the old fruit trees. Erholsame Ferien in einem tollen Ferienhaus
Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber sind wundervoll, herzlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Das Grundstück ist riesig, auf der Wiese konnten wir mit den Kindern verschiedene Ballspiele machen. Es ist alles, Haus und Hof, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!!

Absoluter Wohlfühlfaktor
Ein sehr schönes altes Haus komplett renoviert und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet.
Die Fam. Thoma sind die perfekten Vermieter.
Umliegend gibt es ganz viele schöne Ausflugsziele für groß und klein.
