This modern farmhouse near Grafenau in the district of Furth is located in the middle of the border triangle.
From here you can reach the cities of Passau, Deggendorf or Waldkirchen in about 40 minutes.

Highly recommended
We had a few very nice days at the holiday home of the Thoma family! This house really lacks nothing, the hosts (very nice and open-minded people) make a great effort to make you feel comfortable here. The only thing you could criticize is the location on the main road. However, if you overlook that considering the other only positive things, you can enjoy a wonderful holiday here.

Super hosts and clean holiday home
The hosts are very friendly, obliging and give good tips for excursions. They make every effort to ensure the well-being of their guests. The house is very nicely and tastefully furnished, is very clean and well equipped. The property is huge and our dog could let off steam in the large meadow behind the house. The hiking trails behind the house were also very inviting. We look forward to visiting Fam. Thoma again.

Relaxing in the Bavarian Forest
We spent two very relaxed weeks with a lot of nature and Bavarian coziness. Right behind the house, you can start a hike along the beautiful Ilz or simply walk around the village of Furth through the forest. In addition, there are numerous, partly wild, partly lovely circular and mountain hiking trails in the Bavarian Forest, with the journey through the small villages itself already being worth a trip. For those who prefer a more urban setting, you can reach Passau in about 30 minutes by car, where you can stroll through the old town or along the Danube and Inn rivers. 25 minutes in Passau or about an hour in Regensburg. However, you can also relax at the house under fruit trees in the sun or sit on the small terrace under the sun umbrella. Our dogs were more than welcome and even had a small fenced garden area available. All essential supplies can be obtained from the baker (bread service included). There are also butchers and Edeka in the house located near the forest and on the mountain. In the evening, you can eat/drink beer in the Jägerstöckl or just sit by the cozy fireplace in the house and read. The house itself is spacious, newly and beautifully furnished - it leaves nothing to be desired. The Thoma family is extremely warm and accommodating, so you can simply have a very nice time and we would love to come back.

Anytime gladly again.
Our stay at the Thoma holiday home was fantastic! Cozy, stylishly furnished, clean holiday home, very warm hosts, beautiful natural area with nearby shopping facilities. All in all, very commendable, and we can hardly wait for the next time!

Great time in a fantastic vacation rental!
We had a great time with our two children in the Bavarian Forest in a fantastic holiday apartment. This was the second time we were guests at the Thoma family’s apartment. The apartment is lovingly furnished, so we felt very comfortable in it. In addition, the Thoma family is a first-class host with their warm nature.

Perfektes Ferienhaus
Super nice, lovingly renovated, and cozy holiday home. Also, very nice and kind landlords. Too bad we had to go back home! Great surroundings and starting point for beautiful hikes. Relaxing holidays in a great holiday home
The house is perfectly equipped and very tastefully furnished. The hosts are wonderful, warm, and accommodating. We felt at home. The property is huge, we could play various ball games with the children on the lawn. Everything, house and yard, is very clean and well maintained. We will definitely come back!!!
