Detached holiday home on Park de Horn, only 8 km from the coast and 2 km from the cosy town of Schagen.
The house is furnished for 4 persons, one bedroom with double bed (140 cm wide) and one (children's) bedroom with bunk bed.
The garden and the terrace in south-west location, invite you to sit together or have a barbecue. Garden furniture, deckchairs and charcoal grill are available. Reserved parking space is available directly behind the house.
W-Lan can be booked for a fee at the reception of the park.
The park has a bicycle rental, tennis court, sports field, playgrounds and a petting zoo. There is also a launderette with two washing machines and two dryers. Tokens for this are available in the "De oude Kantine"
A supermarket (Spar) is located at the park entrance. There are plenty of opportunities for fishing in and around the park. Nearby is the lake "Meer van Dirkshorn". The "De Oude Kantine" invites you to eat and drink in the park.
Only a few minutes walk away is the beautiful family outdoor pool "De Veersloot" with playground. In about 5 minutes by car, you can reach the Dirkshorn golf course.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is situated near the North Holland sea coast. In a few minutes you can reach the North Sea coast (whether by car or bicycle) with its miles of wide sandy beaches. Here your children can build great sandcastles, romp around, fly kites, play, swim - as well as eat ice cream and delicious chips
The holiday home is quietly situated and well to very well equipped for a great family holiday, as well as for romantic holidays.
The park is only 100 meters away from the park woods to walk your dog.
Just as fast you can reach the supermarket at the entrance of the Park de Horn, with a meat counter, a bakery and the restaurant "De Oude Kantine" with terrace where you can have dinner + drinks in the evening. There you can play billiards and in the high season there are daily changing holiday events for the children. In the holiday complex there are several playgrounds and sports facilities. At the entrance of the village there is an 18-hole golf course, in the village there is the outdoor swimming pool "De Veersloot", the indoor swimming pool in "De Holle Bolle Boom" with slide and the indoor playground.
Dirkshorn lies in a unique polder landscape with villages in the old Dutch architectural style, picturesque farms, old sea dikes such as the "Meer van Dirkshorn", meadows, flowers, endless fields of tulips and vegetables. The many waterways of canals, canals with their windmills emphasize the famous Dutch landscape. The North Sea coast with its well-known and popular seaside resorts and its inviting beautiful sandy beaches are easily and quickly reached by car in minutes. Even the Ijsselmeer is only 25 km away. The Meer van Dirkshorn invites you to surf, the lake is connected to the harbour. At "De Oude Kantien" bicycles can be rented, an outdoor and indoor swimming pool, indoor playground, 18 hole golf course and a mini golf course at "De Holle Bolle Boom" are available
The central location of Dirkshorn is the ideal starting point for cycling tours in North Holland. The district town Alkmaar with the famous cheese market and the historic old town can be reached in minutes by car or with the existing local transport connection, the bus. The old Hanseatic cities on the IJsselmeer, Medemblik, Enkhuizen and Horn are only about 25 km away and invite you to stroll. The best Dutch fresh "Kibbeling" is available in Den Oever. Den Helder is only about 30 minutes away by car, where you can catch the ferry to Texel. The best way to get to the centre of Amsterdam is by train, which leaves from Schagen. Duration approx. 60 minutes. The district town Schagen is 3 km from Dirkshorn and is very nice for shopping and strolling. Also popular is the old traditional costume market which takes place weekly from April to August
