On a hill in a small wooded area, the apartments at the Maritim Hotel Club is located in the 15th Floor with a beautiful view of the Holstein Switzerland. It is about 150m to the beach, go to the center about 6 - 8 min. Timmendorfer beach is located 15 kilometers north of Lübeck on the Baltic Sea coast and has a great tourist facilities (spa, golf, sailing, surfing, cycling). Autumn holiday 2009

We enjoyed two wonderful autumn weeks here.
The flat is on the land side in the residential area, which turned out to be an advantage afterwards, because we could enjoy the sun on the balcony until late in the evening and watch beautiful sunsets.
The flat was clean, cosy and equipped with a small fitted kitchen.
On the few rainy days we used the relatively large indoor pool and sauna. The water gymnastics offered by the hotel were also nice. The wellness area was no longer the most modern, but clean, cosy and above all quiet.
Since there were also 2 restaurants and a bar with evening events in the adjacent hotel area, there was little boredom in the evenings.
As we are no longer young, we appreciated the easy transport of our luggage with the trolleys provided and the helpfulness of the porters. We could also order and pick up our bread rolls from them.
We enjoyed the wonderful walks along the beach and in the adjacent woods.
The bird park nearby is also interesting.
We were also very impressed by the friendliness of the bus drivers who were always very helpful.
So all in all a nice holiday
We will be happy to return next year.

free time activities: In Timmendorf und Umgebung gutes Freizeitangebot.

shopping facilities: zu Fuß 20 min bis zum nächsten Lebensmittelgeschäft.
Ansonsten reichlich Geschäfte und Cafes in Timmendorf.

Schwerpunkt, schwimmbad
Im innenpool richt es sehr stark nach Chlor. Dies bedeutet nicht immer das es wirklich sauber ist,sondern der extreme Geruch von Chlor bedeutet,dass das Chlor schon verbraucht. Und es verbindet auch den Geruch von Schweiß und dem Toilettengang,der dann meistens im Pool selber ausgeführt wurde.
In dem Hotel in ein einziger Computer der für den öffentlich Gebrauch des Internets den Gästen zu verfügung steht.Allerdings muss man für die Nutzung des Internets Geld bezahlen (pro viertel stunde 1€ ) und der Computer ist dazu noch sehr langsam und alt.
Ich finde es eine Frechheit, da man schon jede menge Geld für den Urlaub in dem Hotel zahlt.
Die Cocktails in der Hotelbar, sind zwar teilweise seinen Preis wert, aber dennoch extrem teuer.
Dazu hält die Animation für Jugendliche, also das Nachmittagsprogramm auch nicht ihre gewünschte Leistung.
Doch im Kinderclub sind die Kinder gut aufgehoben :)
Mit dem Essen war ich durchaus zufrieden. Alelrdings in diesem Jahr muss die Küche voll ihren Küchenchef gewechselt haben, denn das essen war grausaum. Das Schnitzel klein und trocken.
Ich reise dort nun seid 4 Jahren hin und ich wünsche mir immer das es nächstes Jahr besser wird. Aber wird es nicht. Ab nächstes Jahr wechsel ich das Hotel.
