Idyllically situated in a unique location, directly on the lake, of a still almost undiscovered climatic health resort.
Enjoy the peace and diversity of the unspoilt natural landscape far away from mass tourism and relax in our comfortable and tastefully furnished 5-star holiday home in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District.
We offer you pure relaxation on 110 m² of living space and a fantastic view of Lake Altdorf from our spacious roof terrace. Our holiday home has been lovingly designed with your needs in mind. It offers space for wellness, retreat, time together and relaxation.
The house has a light-flooded living-dining area with direct access to the terrace. A high-quality gas fireplace is an eye-catcher in the living area. Comfortably adjustable by remote control from the feel-good sofa, it provides additional warmth to the underfloor heating and enhances the living atmosphere.
On the ground floor there is also a modern bathroom with a shower at ground level and a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of space and light for preparing delicious meals.
Waking up in our comfortable box-spring beds brings small moments of happiness. The spacious bedrooms on the upper floor have enough storage space for your wardrobe and a small balcony on the west side.
A highlight, besides the first-class furnishings of the house, is the barrel sauna in your own garden. The electrically heated sauna creates a particularly good indoor climate due to its shape and the natural woods used. Protected from prying eyes in the enclosed garden, the special experience awaits you. The Altdorfer See lake, about 50 m away, provides a place to cool down.
Relaxing on the large roof terrace with an unobstructed view over the lake is a real treat
On request, we can provide a cot for children up to 3 years and a high chair. Our holiday home also has a washing machine in the utility room and a house safe.
The complex also includes a beach volleyball court with the finest Baltic Sea sand, a children's playground and a bathing area with a jetty.

Your holiday area: The Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide
The nature park stretches over almost 360 km² and, with its almost 60 lakes, is part of the Mecklenburg Lake District.
Forest grows on more than 50 % of the park area. With a little luck, many rare animal and plant species can be observed on long walks or bicycle tours through nature.
The entire nature park has been declared a European bird sanctuary because of its diversity of endangered bird species. The area of the nature park is developed with over 250 km of cycle paths and hiking trails, 100 km of circular hiking trails and about 160 km of bridle paths.
The Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide Nature Park is one of the darkest regions in Germany, now a quality feature for many visitors. On a clear night, not only city dwellers are amazed by the countless stars.

The location of the holiday home complex is unique. Directly on the northern shore of Lake Altdorf, surrounded by unspoilt countryside in the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide nature park. The self-contained holiday home complex comprises 19 houses on spacious plots.
The house "Silberreiher" stands on a 350 m² plot with an unobstructed view of the forest and lake.
The holiday resort of Krakow am See is known for its excellent air and bathing quality and deservedly bears the name "climatic health resort". It is about 20 km to the district town of Güstrow. Krakow is easy to reach by car via the A19 (Berlin-Rostock, Linstow junction approx. 8 km). The journey from Berlin or Hamburg takes about 2 hours. The Baltic Sea is quicker. After just a 50-minute drive, you can put your feet in the Baltic Sea sand in Warnemünde.
The town centre of Krakow am See is only a few minutes away from the holiday home complex. There you will find shopping facilities and restaurants. The lakeside promenade and the old town invite you to stroll and linger. Take a walk along the lakeshore from Krakow Lake with its thatched-roof boathouses to the observation tower at Jörnberg. From there you can enjoy an impressive panoramic view of the 15 lakes around Krakow
