Description
The cozy cabin (60m2), which can be used year-round, consists of a large living room with a kitchenette, 3 bedrooms, bathroom, and hallway. The house is equipped for 6 adults. The living room has a couch corner, a large dining table, and a built-in kitchenette. The small kitchen has everything needed for preparing meals and is equipped with a gas stove and a sink. A gas-powered refrigerator is located in the attached storage room. The bathroom has a washbasin, a shower, and an environmental toilet from the company Separett (Villa). The beds are divided as follows. Bedroom 1: Double bed (150cm), Bedroom 2: Family bunk bed (bottom 0.8m top 0.8m), Bedroom 3: Family bunk bed (bottom 0.8m top 0.8m). The cabin has a 12V electrical system. Each room is equipped with lights and electrical outlets. All devices that can be operated with 12V can be used. (Cell phone, tablet, laptop, etc.) 220V devices can be connected via a gasoline generator if needed. For this purpose, there is an extra 220V socket in the living room. As heating, there is 1 fireplace, 1 cast iron stove, and a paraffin stove in the living room, and a gas stove in the bathroom. In the cabin, there is no running water; however, a central water system is available providing hot and cold water at all outlets (kitchen, bathroom). A central water container must be filled by hand. The water is collected from a source with a hand pump located directly behind the cabin. In front of the cabin, there is a large sun terrace with seating and a fire pit. Wood for the fireplace and fire pit is available at the cabin and costs 150 Nkr for a 60 liter bag. We speak Norwegian, English, and German. Our guests have access to all rooms in the cabin. Since we live about 1 hour away from the cabin, it will rarely be possible for me to personally greet the guests. The key to the cabin is kept in a key safe. I will send the code before arrival. Otherwise, I am always reachable by phone/SMS. The cabin can be rented throughout the year. Bed linen and towels must be brought along. The car can be parked at the parking lot at Andersnattjenn. From there, it is about 250m to the cabin, which must be covered on foot. The road from the main road to the parking lot is tolled. The use is included for 1 vehicle. For additional vehicles, the toll must be paid at the beginning of the road. (60 Nkr per use, cash only). The cabin is only accessible by car.

The cabin is idyllic and sun-rich at the foot of Andersnatten (733m), within sight (150m) of Lake Andersnattjenn. There are many lakes nearby for fishing and the area is perfect for gathering berries and mushrooms. The accommodation is very suitable for couples, solo adventurers, and families with children. The cabin is sunnily situated on a small ridge at Andersnattjenn in Nedre Eggedal. In the area, there are more cabins with a good distance between them. There are several hiking trails in the region. A recommended hike is to Andersnatten. From there, you have a magnificent view of the Norefjell in the east, the Jonsknuten near Kongsberg, and the Gaustatoppen in the west.
