The 120sqm large completely comfortably equipped country house with space for a maximum of 8 people in a very quiet secluded location has on the ground floor a living hall with TV with German channels, a bright friendly dining room, a large modern comfort kitchen with seating area, dishwasher, electric cooker with oven and 4 plates, large refrigerator, freezer with 3 compartments. There is also a large living/bedroom with fireplace and comfortable double sofa bed as well as a bathroom with shower, WC, mirror and washing machine. Particularly attractive is the covered terrace with high quality comfortable wooden garden furniture overlooking part of the property.
Upstairs there is a sofa in the hallway by the window and the small bedroom with 2 single beds and a large bedroom with double bed and single bed, desk and fireplace. There is also a very small bedroom with a single bed leading off from here (designated as a storage room in the floor plan). Plenty of garden furniture on terrace, meadow behind the house and in front of the house on the forest path. Barn on the property as well as earth cellar. Free parking for up to 3 cars
Modern rowing boat is included in the price.

Location and surroundings of object
Between Astrid Lindgren's historic Vimmerby and the interesting coastal town of Västervik (as well as Oskarshamn and Kristdala), the house is situated in a typical Swedish environment, especially rich in lakes and forests, only a few km from the varied archipelago coast in the southeast of Sweden, about 4 hours by motorway/rapid road from the ferry port of Trelleborg. This unique, very quiet and restful location makes it possible to enjoy leisure activities and experiences in the typical Swedish lake and forest landscape as well as on the Baltic Sea archipelago coast with its 1000 islands. The interesting towns of Vimmerby, Västervik, Oskarshamn and Kristdala are about 30-40 km away and offer a wide range of shopping possibilities in pedestrian zones, shopping centres and wholesale markets as well as various fast food chains and proper restaurants and cafes. In the nearby smaller towns such as Blankaholm or Hjorted, there are also shopping facilities for everyday needs.
Of particular interest for children is the nearby amusement park Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby and the original film locations near Vimmerby from the films The Children from Bullerbü and Emil from Lönneberga. An interesting moose safari park is only about 20km from the house. Many hiking and cycling possibilities from the house through quasi untouched, very sparsely populated nature. Many leisure activities (boat trips, golf, horse riding) in the villages on the archipelago. Bathing in the lakes and at the sea (sandy beach and bathing rocks approx. 9km) possible.

additional information about rental price:
| Outboard motor can be rented for 80,- per week. The electricity consumption can be read at the meter on arrival and departure. 0,35 cent per Kwh. It will be charged with the refund of the deposit. Economical tenants can get by with only approx. 10,- per week for electricity. Check-in time flexible from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival, arrival late in the evening or in the middle of the following night is also possible. |

- Free cancellation option until 90 days before the day of arrival.
- Stornierung zwischen 89 und 30 Tagen vor Anreise: 30% des Reisepreises (= die Anzahlung). Bei Stornierung 29 Tage bis bis 10 Tage vor Anreise sind 60% des Reisepreises zu zahlen. Bei Stornierung 9 bis 3 Tage vor Anreise 90%. Bei Stornierung ab 2 Tage vor Reisebeginn oder später sind 100% des Reisepreises zu bezahlen.

The thorough final cleaning has to be done by each tenant before departure, on request also by cleaning lady possible for 90,- .
There are some old bicycles available free of charge, but often not in a roadworthy condition due to improper use by the previous tenants. These bicycles are NOT part of the rental object, use at your own risk! Hobbyists can make their own bikes ready to ride or you can bring your own modern bikes on the car roof / rear rack for longer serious bike tours.
