Your apartment is right in the centre of the lively fishing village of Sant Carles de la Ràpita, but is well away from mass tourism and high-rise buildings. Your apartment is ready for you, fully furnished with all modern appliances, and its own private roof terrace with barbeque , making it suitable for longer stays, such as over the winter.
In Sant Carles, most things are just a short walk away. In the lively town centre and throughout the town, there are many restaurants and terraces serving excellent local food. A picturesque beach promenade takes you to several beach bars, each with their own atmosphere. The town has many leisure possibilities: marina, boat hire, water sports, Later on in the day, the yacht club nightlife area gets fired up for those not yet ready to go to bed.
There is no wrong way to experience Sant Carles and the surrounding area. The town is situated on a particularly lovely and unspoilt coastal corner in the south of Catalonia. The interior, with authentic towns, castles and local markets are paragons of peaceful rural countryside and authentic Spanish conviviality. The area is a playground for the adventurous, and the possibilities for excursions and activities are endless.

Gastvrijheid pur sang!
Voor ons was het de 2e keer dat wij hier mochten verblijven. 7 weken lang GENIETEN. Wij houden van het stadje, wij vinden het appartement en de ligging geweldig. Dichtbij álles, winkels, barretjes, strand, boulevard.
En zeer doorslaggevend voor onze keuze van dit appartement zijn gastheer en gastvrouw.
Wat een tóppers zijn dit. Gastvrijheid pur sang! Lieverds tot volgend jaar

Gaan zeker terug.
Het appartement ligt middenin het stadje Sant Carles, dus dichtbij alle faciliteiten. We hebben dat als heel prettig ervaren. Verder zijn de verhuurders zeer behulpzame, vriendelijke, gezellige mensen. Geheel vrijblijvend en ongedwongen organiseren
ze leuke activiteiten voor hun diverse gasten, wat een unieke onderlinge sfeer teweegbrengt. We hebben de maanden februari en maart genoten van die sfeer en de vele mogelijkheden die de mooie streek te bieden heeft. Gaan zeker terug.

Een pareltje aan de Spaanse Costa.
Sant Carles en m.n Freya 3 zijn voor ons een pareltje aan de Spaanse Costa. Natuurlijk ligt het appartement middenin het stadje en heb je nou niet bepaald een spectaculair uitzicht maar A) daar is de prijs ook naar en B) wij vonden het heerlijk om alles "om de hoek" te hebben.
Ontbijten bij het bakkertje om de hoek, elkaar ontmoeten in de "stamkroeg" van de eigenaars, om de hoek. Strand aan het eind van de straat. Heeeel veel horeca op loopafstand. De zaterdagse markt op loopafstand enz. Geweldig.
Het appartement is zeer compleet. Heerlijk bed, prima keuken, fijne douche, zalig dakterras en fijn dat er een wasmachine is. Vanwege het "koude" weer (naar Spaanse begrippen:) ) hebben wij iedere dag de airco wel even aangehad op de warme lucht. De energiekosten voor de warme aircolucht bleken zelfs nog onder de kosten te liggen van het gebruik van de koude aircolucht die men in hete tijden gebruikt.
Over de eigenaren ben ik snel uitgepraat. Superfijne mensen, uitstekende gastheer/gastvrouw. Goede tips, fijn meedenken en staan altijd voor je klaar. De introductie in de "Hollands sprekende kolonie" aldaar was de kers op de taart voor ons. Kortom wij hebben een súper vakantie genoten in Sant Carles de la Rapita en hopen het volgend jaar te kunnen herhalen.
