Pure relaxation!
We wanted a quiet holiday home to relax in and then we landed in the middle of a little paradise.
The hosts are extremely pleasant people and we can't give enough stars for all the tips and advice
The house is ideal for holidaymakers with dogs as the whole area is fenced in.Our dachshunds have never not had a leash around their necks as rarely as there.Everything you (really) need is available.The location is very secluded and you don't hear any human-created noise at night, well, maybe the jingling of the bells on the animals' necks ;-) I have been to a few places in the world, but I have never seen a starry sky like this in Europe. Our summary: unreservedly recommendable if you absolutely DO NOT need or want any hustle and bustle. The sunrises and sunsets are the best.
The supply is also ensured by the town of Ourique and there were also some small, inconspicuous restaurants that cook as it is appropriate for the area. We would like to thank Charlotte for everything and Heinz in particular for the "breakdown assistance". We will definitely visit you again and see what has become of the lambs. Love also to Rex, Roxy and Maria from Ludwig and Rudi.

Holiday with friends
Everything as described by the landlord, if not even better. The Wehrli family are more like friends than landlords. Cordiality and hospitality are lived here. Super holiday home, everything you could wish for! Superb unobstructed view, wonderful pool and the starry sky, unbelievable. An hour's drive to the beach (west or south). 2h to Lisbon. 10 km to Ourique to the supermarket. Price/performance is perfect. Pure nature. And let us show you the "restaurant" at the reservoir and order chicken or pork from the grill! We would love to come back in spring.
