Behind the pretty façade of the historic warehouse building is your holiday home on the first floor directly at the harbour of the town of Kappeln: the beautiful holiday flat. also ideally suited for single travellers, captivates above all with the phenomenal view of the Schlei, which is "right outside the front door"! Enjoy your time out from the stresses of everyday life as a couple. Your dog is also welcome!
The cosy one-room flat is invitingly bright and friendly thanks to the beautiful mullioned window and a skylight in the sloping roof. Tasteful country house furniture in white-brown tones and original wooden beams support the cosy atmosphere. Take a seat on the high-quality box-spring sofa, which can conveniently be converted into a single or double bed in the evening, and enjoy the view of the colourful hustle and bustle of Kappeln harbour! In the open integrated kitchen you can prepare meals for the small hunger in between and enjoy them at the dining table. If you don't feel like cooking yourself, we recommend a visit to the restaurant of your landlords, the "Hafenheimat", which is conveniently located directly below you on the ground floor of the house. In the evening, delicious Nordic and Mediterranean tapas await you there, and in the afternoon you can enjoy a coffee on the terrace with the best view of exciting harbour cinema!
Even when the weather is not so nice, flat-screen TV, music system, free Wi-Fi and a collection of books and games provide alternative entertainment. Or you can treat yourself to a relaxing sauna session after an eventful day (the in-house sauna is available to all Speicher guests for a small surcharge).
One of the highlights is the terrace, which can be shared with the other two flats and on which you can sit elevated above the harbour promenade directly opposite the sailing harbour... Morning sun for breakfast or a glass of vino in the evening - the neighbouring restaurant will even deliver exclusively to your terrace on request.

The "Speicherkoje" is located directly at the harbour of the town of Kappeln on the first floor of a historic granary, which has been lovingly modernised. The spacious, partially floor-to-ceiling warehouse windows not only open up a first-class view of the Schlei, but within the season also of exciting "harbour cinema", when here - directly in front of your doorstep - various sailing boats, excursion ships and motorboats sail in and out to moor at the guest berth harbour or pass the bridge in Kappeln. Enjoy the maritime atmosphere during a walk along the harbour promenade and "recharge your batteries"! From spring to autumn, the Kappeln Schleibrücke bridge opens every hour at quarter to and you can watch a parade of various motorboats and sailing yachts pass by
The town centre is also only 100 metres away and offers a pretty old town with many small shops, but also sights such as the baroque St. Nicholas Church or the Dutch windmill Amanda, where the tourist information is also located. The Kappeln pedestrian zone is also only about 200 metres from your front door. Lined with small shops, cafés and boutiques, it is perfect for leisurely shopping trips.
The Anglian landscape can also be wonderfully explored by bicycle (which, by the way, you can safely park in the entrance hall of the house). There are also great cycle paths directly along the Schlei, for example to Arnis, the smallest town in Germany. If you prefer to discover the landscape from the water, why not take a trip on the paddle steamer "Schlei Princess", which is anchored at Kappeln harbour just a few metres from your front door.

Die Lage, Aussicht und Nähe zum Wasser hat uns gefallen. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gemütlich. Das Schlafsofa ist für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Ordnung.

Rundum sehr zufrieden.
Besonders gefallen hat uns: Wunderschön + sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Die Lage ist perfekt! Es ist nur abends etwas unheimlich beim späten Hunde-Gassi, weil so früh alles zu hat. Das liegt aber wohl an der Nebensaison.

The view is unique!
The location of the apartment is very central. The view is beautiful and directly onto the Schlei. We were warmly welcomed by the property management. The apartment has everything yo u need for a nice vacation.

The vacation rental is located in the middle of the city and it is still quiet in the evenings/ at night. The view of the Schlei is beautiful! The vacation rental radiates tranquility and you feel very comfortable right away.

It is just a little eerie in the evening when walking the dog late, because everything is closed so early.
But that's probably due to the off-season.
