The Holiday home

This large, interesting Provencal stone house for 6-8 persons with a turfed inner courtyard is in a small, old settlement (hameau) at Mérindol. These location directly on a hiking trail next to a protected area.

Mérindol is reached via a footpath. Located directly on the southern slopes of the Luberon - virtually a stone's throw away from the impressive Regalon gorge.

The french cottage has an area of ​​about 180 square meters over three floors and sleeps 8 Sleeps. Through the wrought iron entrance you reach the courtyard, and then the actual entrance of the house.

Here on the ground floor there is a bathroom with tub and sink. Over a few steps to get to the dining room with a large, rustic dining table and the adjacent, open kitchen, exit to the terrace overlooking the courtyard with garden furniture and barbecue.

The kitchen is equipped for example with freezer, cooker hood, microwave, dishwasher - there is cook and eat overlooking the Provence. A few steps higher, and leads into the large living room with a fireplace, satellite TV (German channels) DVD and CD player. It has wireless Internet access for systemic / local availability.

Behind this living room is the bedroom wing of the house, there is a bathroom with tub, shower and sink and 3 bedrooms: one bedroom with a m wide bed, a large bedroom with two single beds, a m wide mattress on a type base and sink, a bedroom with a wide bed, sink and gallery.

Wir haben das Haus zu zweit bewohnt mit unserem Hund. Die Vermieter waren sehr herzlich und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.Das Wetter war perfekt ,daher mußten wir die Heizung(Elektroheizkörper) nicht benutzen, was zusätzliche Kosten verursacht hätte. Das Haus ist geeignet für Großfamilie oder 2 Familien mit Kindern. Für Gäste die häufig das Internet benötigen ist es weniger gut, da häufig Verbindungsprobleme bestanden.Besonders zu loben ist die perfekte Küchenausstattung und die guten Betten, die ruhige Lage und der herrliche Blick auf das Durancetal vom Balkon. Wer gut Französisch kann, dem steht eine Bibliothek im Haus zur Verfügung.Wer gerne wandert kann direkt vom Haus starten und wunderschöne Wanderungen in derherrlichen Umgebung unternehmen.
