In this beautiful holiday home with outdoor swimming pool and large garden you can enjoy the natural beauty of Sicily undisturbed. With a 120 square meter living space and two separate bedrooms, a tastefully furnished, high-quality holiday home awaits up to six people. Relax on a lounger in the garden, take a swim in the pool and mainly enjoy the view of the slopes of Etna. If you are happy to go on vacation, go hiking or even a challenge with a canyoning tour along the Alcantara River, then Gold is the place for you. Just make a short walk to the waterfalls of the river, not far away you can come very close to a dreamlike place. A few kilometers away you can even swim in a bay. Your holiday home is a few kilometers outside the picturesque town of Castiglione di Sicilia. From the garden you have an impressive view of the walls of the old town, which goes on a hill. If you choose to walk it about two kilometers of a long path, you cross the Alcantara River on the way, which runs practically behind your garden. In addition to historic sites, you will also find everything you need for your daily needs and a few restaurants in the village.

Activities in the area: The area around the River Alcantara invites many activities. These include rafting trips and canyoning, walking and mountain biking. Not far from your holiday home offer some waterfalls to you spectacular photo moments such as holiday reminders. The most famous motifs await you to the "Gole Dell'Alcantara" (about seven kilometers). The gorges are up to 20 meters deep and four to five meters wide. The river park with shallow bath zones southeast of Francavilla can be reached via a parking space. You can enter the gap through a footpath or even with the elevator. Another highlight is a visit to the Etna nature park. There are now good hiking trails, some even lead to the main craters. From Refugio Etna Nord you can also go to the Observatory with off-road buses

Swimming pool is lovely. Wonderfully quiet place and Adina the Hostess and her father very friendly and helpful people. The house we were in is clean, wonderfully complete (kitchen, refrigerator, bathroom) and is being expanded even further. I'm curious about the final result

What a wonderful week we had! This place really has everything: a view of Mount Etna and Castiglione di Sicilia, a beautiful garden with a lovely swimming pool, nice large towels, and the town of Taormina not too far away. Based on the few pictures we weren't sure what to expect, but it pleasantly surprised us! Adina and Rosario are very nice hosts and ensured that we had a carefree week. Highly recommended!!
