In the heart of Drenthe, in the center of an ancient forest and arable landscape is this group accommodation in a holiday park. The resort is a lively family park during the holidays and a quiet stay in spring and fall. The park is centrally located in the north of the Netherlands and is easily accessible. There are several group accommodations in the park, it is therefore possible to stay with large(r) groups.

The group accommodation includes a parent-child bedroom and is adapted for people with disabilities. The bedrooms are equipped with box spring beds, there is a cozy kitchen with cooking island, and it also has a spacious garden. There are many facilities including a heated outdoor swimming pool with exciting water slide, a recreational lake, fish pond, tennis courts, and miniature golf. You can go to the supermarket at the park for your groceries, and you can purchase simple meals in the snack bar. If you want to eat out, you can choose from the restaurant's dishes. Most facilities are seasonal and therefore not open throughout the entire year.
Strolling through the nature areas
This holiday park is surrounded by nature reserves and is only 3 mi from the center of Assen. It is a convenient location for making city trips. Discover the atmospheric center of Assen, or go into nature. You could make wonderful trips through the Drentscha Aa national natural landscape with your (rental) bike. Obviously, an excursion to the dolmens is an absolute must.

Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, die Aufenthaltsräume waren gemütlich und schön geräumig. Ein großer Vorteil war auch das es in fast jedem Zimmer ein extra Waschbecken gab.

Apart from having to listen to the race sounds from the circuit all weekend, it is a peaceful environment. Of course, it was the end of the autumn vacation. I can't imagine how it would be in the summer. The house was fine. Not really cozy but adequately furnished. Beds were "bad". Too short and narrow!

The beautiful house, the separate live-in kitchen and large living room. The interior.
Unfortunately, the weather was very bad, but we still had a great time together.
The friendliness, the helpfulness of the staff was very nice.
It was definitely worth repeating, but then in spring/summer.

The rooms were very clean, the common rooms were cosy and nicely spacious.
A big advantage was that there was an extra sink in almost every room.
