Description
Villa Adalene is a spacious holiday home for 8 - 10 people. It is located in a quiet village Valtura, near Pula. The nearby Roman and Bronze Age Nezakcij archeological site is 650 meters from the house.
The city of Pula, with its 3,000 years of history and Roman monuments such as the Arena Amphitheater and the Temple of Augustus, is 9 km away.
A spacious courtyard of over 1,000 m2 and a private swimming pool of 60 m2 will provide all guests with the ultimate summer pleasure.
The covered porch features a large wooden table overlooking the pool, grill/fireplace, private toilet, and beverage fridge.
The house of 320 m2 is spread on the ground floor and 1st floor. The 4 bedrooms offer 3 double beds and 4 single beds, with a total of 10 sleeping places. Three bedrooms have a private bathroom.
3 bathrooms are equipped with showers and one bathroom with a whirlpool bath. Guests can use one washing machine.
The ground floor consists of one large and one small living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a large dining table.
4th bedroom is in a separate building near the villa, 5 m away from Villa Adalene. It has a private entrance.
Children's swings and a mini volleyball court will provide fun for the youngest guests.

An idyll in the original Istria
We, two families with two 16 and two 12 year old children, stayed at Villa Adalene in June. It is in a quiet and very idyllic location on the outskirts of Valtura. From Valtura you can reach the beaches on the west, south and east coast in about 20-30 minutes. But it is also a perfect destination in spring and autumn, because you can go hiking and mountain biking directly from the house. For us, the distance to the beach was not a problem because we always had contact with the water after our excursions through the pool. The entire complex is very beautiful and spacious. The hit for our children: there is a very large meadow where you can play volleyball,
The pool is the centrepiece of the villa. It is a great place to swim. Our children had a lot of fun in the pool. We were told that the pumping system of the pool gets problems when the pool loses a lot of water. This can happen due to excessive jumping in. We adjusted our behaviour accordingly. The outdoor seating area is also very nice, with a barbecue and fridge
The furnishings of the rooms are okay, but you can see that they have aged a bit. We could have done without some of the knick-knacks. Mosquito nets in front of the windows would be great and would often save the air-conditioning (maybe they can retrofit this)
It is really quiet. The owners' dog only barked once in a while, sometimes you can hear the dogs in the neighbourhood.
However, if you are looking for a place to party, this is the wrong place
There is plenty of crockery in the kitchen, some of it is getting on in years, the only thing missing was a pasta strainer. Good tap water!
Conclusion: Adalene is a nice place to relax and enjoy. If you are respectful of your surroundings, you can spend a wonderful holiday here. The hosts are friendly and discreet. You can buy good wine and olive oil from them. Ask for Maja, where you can book a fantastic massage!

Geldverschwendung
Hey, wir waren einfach nur sehr enttäuscht dass wir dieses Ferienhaus gemietet haben.
Zum einen weil alles schmutzig, alt und vieles kaputt war. Und zum anderen der Eigentümer direkt nebenan wohnt und somit man keine Privatsphäre hat.
Wir wurden freundlich empfangen aber uns wurde nicht gesagt dass man nicht in den Pool springen darf, am vorletzten Tag kam der Eigentümer plötzlich von hinten schreiend an und wollte uns rausschmeißen.
Dass was wir bezahlt haben, war in meinen Augen viel zu viel und abgesehen davon hat er uns die Kaution nicht mehr zurück gezahlt.
Leute passt auf wo ihr was bucht und lest euch erstmal die Bewertungen durch!

Hallo,
eigentlich schreibe ich keine Rezensionen aber hier musste es einfach sein. Das Haus zu buchen war der größte Reinfall. Lasst die Finger davon! Von Anfang an war das Haus dreckig. Unter den Betten eine dicke Staubschicht, Spiegel verdreckt, Fensterscheiben milchig, Duschbrausen komplett verkalkt, das Wasser in den Duschen kommt nur von den Seiten raus. Abflüsse sind verstopft und stinken. Badezimmertüren kann man nicht abschließen. Kein warmes Wasser im Badezimmer. Abdunsthaube funktioniert nicht, sowie das Licht am Herd. Mikrowelle wie in der Anzeige beschrieben gab es nicht. Der Eigentümer wohnt direkt daneben und kommt einfach rüber wenn er will, also von Privatsphäre und ruhigen Urlaub kann man nicht sprechen.
Verbietet uns in den Pool zu springen, wird dabei aggressiv und hat uns verbal angegriffen. Dann hat er uns vorgeworfen die Pumpe dadurch kaputt gemacht zu haben. Der Hund ist ständig am bellen. Unsere Kaution von 500€ wurde uns nicht zurück gezahlt, weil uns vorgeworfen wurde die Hausregeln nicht beachtet zu haben (in den Pool gesprungen, Pool verdreckt...) sowie anscheinend Dinge kaputt gemacht zu haben die von Anfang an schon kaputt waren. Eigentümer total unfreundlich und nicht weiter zu empfehlen!
