The Holiday home

We are very pleased to be able to offer you the 4½ room house "Il Lavatoio", an exceptionally attractive property. In 2019, a former wash house was converted into an architectural jewel according to the latest ecological standards and tastefully furnished with great attention to detail. The entire construction is made of wood, and birch wood has also been used in almost all the interiors to create an optimal indoor climate. Natural insulation materials and ventilated walls complete the latest standards. Even the water for the sauna's refreshment pool comes from your own spring!
The house is situated in a quiet and sunny location on the edge of an idyllic park landscape of approx. 5,000 m². The living space of approx. 150 m² offers with a living room, a dining room, a separate kitchen, 2 bedrooms (each with air conditioning and bath en suite) and a separate guest toilet a lot of modern comfort. The different outdoor areas offer various possibilities for each individual to leave their everyday life behind and enjoy their holiday. Behind the house lies the approx. 2,900 m² large closed property (partly left in its natural state) with stone table and benches as well as a barbecue. From here, a stone staircase leads you to your approx. 170 m² private garden. Here you will find the 7.5m x 2.5m pool (open from mid-May to the end of September due to weather conditions) with sunbathing area and outdoor shower, and the portico directly next door with its cosy wooden sauna and the old stone washing fountain (il lavatoio!), which has been converted into a refreshment pool and gives its name to the villa. Four balconies with a beautiful view of a part of the park and an impressive 100 year old Lebanon cedar complete the offer. The rest of the idyllic park with its approx. 10 m high secular rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias and various fruit trees is unique and is unique on Lake Maggiore. Especially in spring, the blossoming of the tree gives you an unforgettable spectacle that you should not miss at any price! Your landlord will be happy to give you the opportunity to explore the site with him on request. If you would like to share your collected impressions with the rest of the world, you can do so easily thanks to the free WLAN Internet access.

For the hiking enthusiasts among you, the villa offers a wide network of well-developed paths, on which you can explore the beautiful area on foot.
