The Holiday home

No queuing on arrival at the rental office! We will pick you up personally and take you to your holiday home at any time!


In the winter months November-February weekly bookings are also possible.

The well-kept holiday home is located in a small urbanisation between Benitachell and Javea, near Moraira.

The supermarket MASYMAS and some restaurants are only meters away. The sandy beach of Moraira can be reached by car in 10-15 minutes.

In the immediate vicinity there is a sports centre with tennis courts, football pitch and an indoor swimming pool, which you can reach on foot.

A covered carport belongs to the house. You can also easily park more cars in front of the house.

The holiday home is quiet and private. Behind the pool and next to one side of the house there are no direct neighbours. There are only a few steps from the parking lot to the house.

All rooms of the house are on one level and it offers the following:

- a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, gas stove/oven, freezer/fridge combination, toaster, kettle, juicer, Krups coffee maker (Dolce Gusto capsules), microwave oven, crockery, pots and pans, cutlery

- an open plan living room with comfortable sofas, fireplace with cassette (wood burning) and SAT/TV (English and Spanish channels only).

- Dining room with round table and chairs

- a glazed naya with a table and 4 chairs with exit to the pool.

You can reach the private rooms via a small corridor:

- 1 bedroom with wall cupboard (bed 150 x 200 cm) with a spacious bathroom en suite (bathtub, bidet, WC, washbasin)

- 1 bedroom (bed 140 x 200 cm) and closet

- 1 bedroom (2 single beds 90 x 190 cm) and closet

-1 spacious shower room with WC and washbasin

All rooms have ceiling fans against the summer heat. At the windows of all bedrooms and bathrooms are mosquito blinds and blinds.

Outside there is a 10 x 5 m pool (minimum depth approx. 1 m, maximum depth approx. 2 m) with outside shower and a beautiful covered pergola with dining and sitting area, as well as a comfortable Hollywood swing.

Sun loungers and sun chairs are available.

There is also a charcoal ball grill from Weber for hearty BBQ´s at a cheerful get-together.

The house is surrounded by a mediterranean garden with various seating possibilities. It is especially nice to relax under the large carob tree in summer.

In the house there are different games for the whole family and also some books in different languages.

Location and surroundings of object

The house is situated in a small and quiet urbanisation, outside the municipality of Benitachell. A large supermarket and various restaurants are within walking distance.
The small sleepy village Benitachell (Valencian Benitatxell) lies between Moraira and Javea, about 5 km from the coast and has about 4,500 inhabitants. The municipality of Benitachell has 2 km of coastline with the areas of Abiar, Alcasar, Calistros, Cumbre del Sol, La Font, Les Fonts and Lluca. Benitachell was founded in 1698 and is now an important and central centre for the surrounding agricultural economy, especially for the grapes grown there (Muscat). Benitachell is beautifully situated in a gently rolling hilly landscape. A stroll through the typical narrow Spanish streets of Benitachell and a short visit to the church Iglesia de Santa Maria Magdalena (a building of important, expressive architecture) is another absolute must. Benitachell is very conveniently located in the hinterland of the Costa Blanca, but the administrative district ends at a km long coastal strip where two grottos can be found:

The Cala Llebeig and the Tiestos. These caves are a must for nature lovers. It is an uneven coastline with many cliffs that in some places are more than 100 metres above sea level. Somewhat in front of it you find the bay of La Cala des Testos; small and cosy, with pebbles and almost inaccessible (best by boat). This is a wonderful place to relax and bathe in the crystal clear water.

The popular urbanisation of Benitachell Cumbre del Sol (Sun Peak), which reaches down to the beach of Benitachell el Moraig, is about 2 km away. It is a mountain rise of up to 100 m rising from the sea with a steep coast. The Cumbre del Sol was opened up for development by Benitachell in the 70s and accommodates international guests. The sea view from here is breathtakingly beautiful and in good, clear weather you can also see the island of Ibiza from time to time. The Cumbre del Sol has a small pebble beach el Moraig with a great chiringuito (beach bar) and a restaurant.

The Cueva del Moraig cave of the same name is also well known among cave divers. This mysterious, underground freshwater river with its spectacular cave labyrinth is one of the best caves and nobody could find its origin yet. Thus great riddles remain open around its origin.

For the cold winter months there is a gas central heating in the beautiful and cosy house. Gas consumption is billed separately. For long-term rentals, electricity consumption is also charged at €/KWh extra.

If you like, you can also borrow something to better perceive the beautiful landscape.

Bicycle, quad and scooter rentals are available in Calpe, Moraira, Javea and Denia.

In Calpe there are Ninebot tours ( ). Ninebot is the "little brother" of the Sedgeway and a bit cheaper than this one. The short taster tour is sometimes already available for 10 Euro.

In Javea (near Arenal beach) and in Moraira (behind LIDL) there are karting tracks where smaller/younger children are allowed to ride. Javea also has racing karts for those who like speedy driving.

An absolute MUST is to visit my favourite bay in Javea/Granadella. Here a part of the film Cold light of day (2012) was shot with Bruce Willis and Sigourney Weaver. The water here is very clear, but often very boisterous. It is a bit difficult to get into the water because of the undercurrent and the big gravel stones. Shoes are absolutely necessary. But the view to this bay is simply unique.
In the summer months it is very crowded here. It is advisable to arrive before lunch, as there are only limited parking spaces available.
For families with children, the nearby amusement parks in Benidorm are a special experience (driving time approx. 30 minutes) see:

The following leisure activities are available in the immediate vicinity:
The 18-hole golf course Javea is about 1 km away

The old town of Altea, a neighbouring town of Calpe, with the church with the blue church dome, which is worth seeing, is wonderful to look at. There are many small art and souvenir shops in the old historic alleys, as well as boutiques, bars and restaurants.

Recommended are the 'Fuentes del Algar' near Callosa d'en Sarria; natural waterfalls embedded in huge oleander hedges. You can swim, but be careful - even in midsummer the water is not warmer than 18 degrees or simply rest or picnic under shady trees. There's a restaurant there, too. However, in midsummer it could be overcrowded by tourists.
