The Holiday home

No queuing on arrival at the rental office! We will pick you up personally and take you to your holiday home at any time!

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this beautiful, Mediterranean designed terraced house is just right.

The cottage is enthroned above Moraira, in Benimeit, and offers from all rooms (except bathroom and toilet) a fantastic sea view from Moraira to Calpe.

The very well maintained terraced house complex is secured with an electric gate and is therefore very private.

In front of the holiday home there is a small car parking space; further parking possibilities within the complex are available.

The house on 2 living levels is very comfortably furnished and maintained. Due to the open space concept, the holiday home on the ground floor offers a dining area with salon and a kitchen (without dishwasher), as well as a storeroom with washing machine. In addition there is another guest room with a single bed. A separate guest toilet is also available.

From the salon one enters a glazed, closed Naya (winter garden) with exit to the private front garden with a stone seating group with large parasol.

From here you can reach the spacious, beautiful pool area covered with palm trees and lawn with an outside shower (cold water).

On the upper floor there are 2 double bedrooms with air-conditioning and a beautiful bath with shower, WC and bidet.

Both bedrooms have a shared covered balcony with a sensational view over the glittering Mediterranean Sea and the pool area.
For the colder days a gas central heating is available in the holiday house. In the salon there is an air conditioner warm/cold and in addition there is a pellet stove.

If you like, you can also borrow something to better perceive the beautiful landscape.
Bicycle, quad and scooter rentals are available in Calpe, Moraira, Javea and Denia.

In Calpe there are Ninebot tours (). Ninebot is the "little brother" of the Sedgeway and a bit cheaper than this one. The short taster tour is sometimes already available for 10 Euro.

In Javea (near Arenal beach) and in Moraira (behind LIDL) there are karting tracks where smaller/younger children are allowed to ride. Javea also has racing karts for those who like speedy driving.

An absolute MUST is to visit my favourite bay in Javea/Granadella. Here a part of the film 'Cold light of day' (2012) was shot with Bruce Willis and Sigourney Weaver. The water here is very clear, but often very boisterous. It is a bit difficult to get into the water because of the undercurrent and the big gravel stones. Shoes are absolutely necessary. But the view to this bay is simply unique.

In the summer months it is very crowded here. It is advisable to arrive before lunch, as there are only limited parking spaces available.

Location and surroundings of object

The terraced house is enthroned on the highest point of the former fishing village of Moraira
Teulada-Moraira has about 11,000 inhabitants (2016) and is a municipality in the province of Alicante. Teulada is about 5 km away from the Mediterranean coast. The municipality of Teulada also includes the well known village of Moraira, located to the south-east, directly by the sea. Teulada also has a railway station line 9 to Alicante and to Denia.
Teulada has a modern cultural hall (auditorium) where international artists regularly give their best. The performances of the Moscow State Ballet are especially recommended for Christmas. In the 1st week after Easter, Teulada-Moraira celebrates a 10-day celebration in honour of its patron saint, San Vicente Ferrer. Another important festival is the celebration of Moros y Cristianos (Moors and Christians) on the 2nd weekend in June, where the conquest of the Moors over the Christians and then the reconquest of the Christians is impressively played with imposing costumes on two consecutive evenings on the beach of Moraira. These fights took place between the 8th and 15th centuries.
Moraira has the flair of a small fishing village, but with all the amenities and advantages of a fine holiday resort. Moraira is also called the small Saint Tropez of the Costa Blanca. Villas of wealthy residents from all over the world determine the image of the surroundings of Moraira. Moraira also has a small old town with beautiful souvenir shops and boutiques, restaurants, cafes and bars. Hotels are rare in Moraira, and apart from two seven-storey apartment buildings, there are no skyscrapers. Moraira is a place of peace and relaxation, which, except for the summer months, is predominantly inhabited by older people. Among the sights of Moraira is the Castillo de Moraira, located directly on the beach l´Ampolla, as well as the watchtower Cap d´Or. Gastronomically Moraira offers in more than 100 restaurants and bars culinary delights of the national and international cuisine, ranging from simple tapas to top gastronomy. The beaches of Moraira have all been awarded the EU Blue Flag for the Environment.

Moraira beach L'Ampolla, the largest and most visited beach of Moraira with fine sand at the foot of the castle. There are parking lots, restaurants, swimming supervision, Red Cross, pedalo rental, jet ski rental.

Moraira Strand Playa Platgetes: If you follow the road towards Calpe, you will find the beaches of Platgetes. Partly sandy beach, partly also rocky beaches. Parking, Restaurants, Red Cross, Beach promenade

Moraira Strand Playa L´Andrago: Moraira direction Calpe at Cap Blanc, directly at the Cafe Bar Algas, with a very nice view of Moraira. A rather quiet pebble beach with crystal clear water and plenty of parking.

Moraira beach Playa del Portet, the small, shell-shaped bay with crystal clear water lies below the Cap d´Or. Sandy beach with very shallow water, surrounded by old fishing cottages and restaurants. Wonderful view of the harbour of Moraira. There's parking, restaurants, Red Cross.

Moraira beach La Cala, this small bay is behind the Cap d´Or. La Cala is a rocky beach with crystal clear water, which can be reached either by sea or on foot via a steep slope. That's why there's only a few visitors.
