The Holiday home

Welcome to our ideally situated, ground floor, south-facing, extremely spacious (180 sqm) apartment, 'KENT' that opens directly to the Blue Pool from its enclosed private garden (it is also just 100 metres from the main and children's pools). We also have a beautiful first floor apartment in El Presidente that overlooks the main swimming pool and whose entrance also opens to the Blue Pool. Our KENT apartment offers an unbeatable combination of:
• Luxurious accommodation with a very spacious lounge that opens to the large south-facing terrace and private garden; a large, very well equipped and recently refurbished kitchen; very comfortable beds and attractive bedroom suites!
* Recently refurbished bathrooms with a large walk-in shower and full size bath with shower.
* 47' LCD satellite television in lounge, 32' LCD televisions in both bedrooms, english language television channels, plus German, French, Scandinavian, Russian, Flemish and Spanish channels.
* The entire apartment has recently been redecorated.
* New sofa in the lounge.
• Personal service throughout your stay.
• FREE INTERNET ACCESS.
• Terrace and garden have two sun-loungers and a four seater dining table, overlooking the sub-tropical gardens and Blue pool.
• Close access to the pool, nearby beach and 2 beach bar/restaurants.
• Five swimming pools, including one of which is scheduled to be heated for all of the winter (please note that we have no control over this) and the main pool (that has just been refurbished) that is huge, lagoon shaped with a central island, and with an adjacent children's paddling area.
• Free use of our 4 tennis and 2 padel courts.
• Basketball court and football pitch.
• Free parking.

An added advantage of there being quite a few full-time residents like us who are so fortunate to be living here, including others with children, in El Presidente is that it never feels like a ghost town especially in the winter but is instead a warm and welcoming holiday destination!!

additional information about rental price:

The change-over day is usually a Saturday except in the low season. In the high season the minimum stay is usually two weeks.
The final clean of the apartment is included as long as the apartment is left in a tidy state and with all rubbish removed.
Good quality bed linen and towels for the bathroom are also included. For our own apartments, we can also supply towels for the pool.
Please note that 40 euros of electricity per week is included in the rental. This amount is quite sufficient for 99% of our guests however as unfortunately we have had one or two bad experiences where a visitor has left the heating or a/c on 24 hours a day (even with the windows open!) and the lights on all through the apartment including when they are not there, it has been necessary for us to mention it. We do hope that you will understand.

additional information

As we live in El Presidente with our family, we will be here to meet you personally and to escort you to your apartment, explain about it, the community and surrounding area.
Whilst we try to ensure the accuracy of all this information, we cannot be held responsible for the unavailability of any service or facility, maintenance work being carried out by the community or a neighbour, infestation, disturbance or loss especially when it is outside of our control although we will always do our best to assist and attempt to rectify issues as quickly as we can.
We also hope that all guests will treat the apartment and the neighbours with respect, abide by the rules of our community, inform us of any damage caused and on departure, to leave the apartment in a tidy state and with all rubbish removed please.
40 euros per week of electricity is included in the rental. This is quite sufficient for the vast majority of our guests but we have had a few costly experiences where guests have left the air-conditioning or heating on 24 hours per day, sometimes even with the windows wide open!
A damage deposit of either £200 or €200 in cash is requested on arrival.

We moved to live in El Presidente from the 18 years ago with our family following my enforced early retirement, due to ill health, from a career as a teacher. My wife, who is Spanish, has had a family home in Marbella for almost all of her life so she knows the area extremely well and we are therefore able to pass on an excellent level of knowledge about the area to our guests. Also, as we do live here, we will be able to welcome you personally to El Presidente and to look after you during your stay. Over the years, we have invested substantial amounts of time, money and effort to maintaining and refurbishing our three apartments in El Presidente so that hopefully you will be able to enjoy a high quality and comfortable home for your visit.

Superb apartment on smart complex, great amenities
We would thoroughly recommend this apartment. We stayed in Peter’s "Kent" property for 3 weeks. The standard of furnishings and facilities overall was very high making the apartment a real home from home. The kitchen was fully equipped, with no need to eat out when we preferred to stay in as everything we needed was on hand.
Peter and Sylvia were wonderful hosts. We were welcomed with a selection of drinks, tapas and buns, followed by a quick tour of the apartment and urbanisation. They were available during our stay (they also live at El Presidente) for any queries or advice, though were never intrusive. Any small problems we had were promptly dealt with.
The development is very well maintained with private gardens and landscaped public areas with fountains. The beachfront is just a short walk away. It is also handy for access to major road networks for visiting local areas of interest. There are supermarkets nearby. A good selection of restaurants is also within easy walking distance
This was a good base from which to explore the area - we had day trips to local resorts and a few longer excursions to Ronda, Cadiz, and Antequera.
