Description
Montemare, as the name suggests, mountains and sea. No more annoying discussions about the eternal question: beach or hiking?
The Finca lies idyllically embedded in magnificent olive groves and pine forests on a small hill. It has its own swimming pool and outdoor shower with plenty of space for sunbathing all around, a BBQ pavilion and a glazed balcony, all with fantastic sea views. On the mountain side there is another large seat where you can relax and enjoy the evening sun. A large gas grill on wheels can be conveniently placed at the desired location, depending on what kind of view you feel like having while barbecuing. The property is generously fenced (approx. 4000m2), ideal for families with children. This small paradise is only 10 minutes by car from the beach (6km), 5 minutes by car from the very original Catalan village El Perello (2km) and about 40 minutes by car from the mountains (Ports de Tortosa-Beseit) in the nature reserve.

The way to our Finca is called: Cami de puig molto way of the many hills. At the top it stands splendid and sublime. The first time we drove up the hill we were already enthusiastic about the location, but we never would have thought that it would be even better, because once you arrived at the house and walked onto the veranda, the view took your breath away. A panoramic view that is hard to beat. We had immediately fallen in love and wanted to have the Finca absolutely. Even today, this view still inspires us again and again.

We wanted to find a place where we could go if we did not have more so desire would spend the vacation again and again in other countries and hotels. In 1999 we spent 2 weeks in Spain for the first time and were thrilled. The landscape, the sea, the people, everything was right. Here should be our definite holiday home. Already 1 year later we had found our Finca. Surrounded by olive groves and pine forests with fantastic views of the sea and mountains. Only 2 hours away from the airport Barcelona or Valencia. Close to a small Catalan village (El Perello, 2km). Plus its own swimming pool, just perfect. It is a small paradise, the ideal place to relax and unwind.

More is not possible
Yes well, where do you start? House tip top. It looks in the smallest way used, just like you. That's why you can allow yourself this judgement. Equipment: everything there. Terrace: wonderful view of the Punta del fangar. You get the impression that the punta is within walking distance. But it only looks that way. Pool: always fresh. This is taken care of. Barbecue is also possible. We did not use it. Our dogs do not poop on the property belonging to the pack. Walking is only possible to a limited extent in two directions along the path. Overall rating: 1 with a star. The asterisk for the attentive care.

Oasis of well-being with a dewy view ❣️
To escape the grey winter in Germany, we rented the finca for several weeks.
Even when we arrived, we were totally impressed by the wonderful location in absolutely quiet surroundings between olive groves. But the finca itself impressed us even more. After parking our car on the property, we went through the garden to the front of the finca and the view of the sea is beautiful. The finca with conservatory and barbecue corner in the garden immediately invites you to feel good.
The living area with mega kitchen, living room and bedrooms radiates cosiness. The equipment is also very praiseworthy, with everything you need in abundance. Particularly worth mentioning is the kitchen, where everything is just like in your own home
Mario Brand, the landlord, deserves special mention. He puts the icing on the cake with his friendly manner. Very helpful if you have a question and of course with one or two tips on what to do
We felt absolutely comfortable here even over a longer period of time and would immediately choose the finca again to spend a very pleasant time here.

A house of superlatives
Dreamlike, and everything...
We have been holidaying in houses/villas for over 30 years, but what is on offer here cannot be beaten for perfection. Whether it's the kitchen with all the(‼️‼️)
Kitchen utensils, sharp knives, white porcelain napkin rings, ( I mean, who does that...?)or the perfect mosquito screens, the great pool, the beds, the bathrooms,the house is really perfect.... Also Cora, the keyholder super lovely and English speaking, mega!
What a wonderful, altruistic person you must be to allow strangers such luxury...?

Great Finca with incredible view
Our family had an amazing holiday in the villa finca Montemare. This home is conveniently located near the village and offers a nice panorama between sea and hills. Cleanliness, brightness, spaciousness and easiness are among its main features. In addition, the owner is serious and offers tenants all the conditions for a successful holiday.
Besides the beaches and usual attractions of the Catalan coastal towns, beautiful excursions are possible and facilitated by a good road network close to home.
For example, the El Priorat region was a disconcerting discovery by the quality of its natural space and the charm and tranquility of its villages lined with famous vineyards.
Below the villa, the GR92 trail between Ametlla de Mar and Ampolla worth seeing along the sea.
We will come back !

Great vacation in a beautiful finca.
For the third and certainly not the last time, we have now spent 3 wonderful weeks together with our dog in this great finca. Already during our first stay, it was very positive for us to realize that this is not a "rental bunker", but a finca that is very individually and lovingly furnished with a lot of warmth. However, the modern and absolutely contemporary furnishings also appeal to us. Cooking together in the open kitchen with all the appliances that make it easier to succeed, or a TV evening where you can simply relax comfortably, is just as possible as targeted listening to music or a nice barbecue evening in the outdoor area. The pool with its fantastic view or the air-conditioned "winter garden" round off the overall impression. What we also found very pleasant is that from the dishes and cutlery to spices or other utensils, you always have the feeling of spending your holiday in a house where you live and act - almost like at home.
The fenced property was naturally particularly valuable for us, as we were able to let our dog run and explore unsupervised after entering.
The organizational support is also worth mentioning. Whether it's the rental transaction, the arrival description, the welcome personnel on site, or the pool attendant, everything is absolutely reliable and friendly.
El Perello, as the nearest town, offers the still typical ambience of this region that has been spared from mass tourism. There are, of course, other towns or localities nearby that allow everyone to discover something.
So, if you like it a bit secluded and don't mind using a car, this is the perfect place for you.

Holiday paradise with magnificent views
We will definitely book another vacation in this wonderfully located finca. The online advertisement delivers what it promises! We were very well taken care of, had a contact person at all times, and everything was clean and well-maintained. Excursion destinations such as beaches, sights, markets, shopping centers, etc. are all easily accessible. We will be happy to recommend this vacation home to friends!

Traumurlaub in Traumfinca!
Das war unser zweites Mal in der Finca und sicher nicht unser letztes Mal! Wenn wir uns selbst ein Haus einrichten würden, könnten wir es nicht perfekter, vollständiger, sauberer und gemütlicher einrichten! Bessere Messer und Pfannen als zuhause, Mosquitonetze in jedem Fenster, den Luxus von Klimaanlagen (haben wir in der zweiten sehr heißen Woche nachts zu schätzen gelernt!) etc. und eine sehr nette Betreuung um Haus und Pool! Gerne mal wieder!

After many years of employment, my husband is an IT computer scientist and I am a medical practice assistant, we decided to start our own business. Our Finca which we had bought 3 years before and which was used only for holidays, lies in the middle of beautiful olive groves which the previous owner left to run wild. It would be fantastic to bring them back to life, to produce our own olive oil of the best quality and to sell it in Switzerland. We immediately put our idea into practice, worked the trees, bought our own oil mill with which we could traditionally press with mats and put a lot of work and energy into our project. Each year the yield increased and our oil was indeed of excellent quality. A few years later my husband founded another business and installed autarkic photovoltaic plants.
