Description
The former Vieregge manor house, which is more than 150 years old, was restored in 2010 in accordance with ecological criteria and furnished to a high standard and equipped according to the latest standards. in 2021, it was renovated again and the southwest wing was expanded to 123 sqm + new terraces (35 sqm). The southwest wing is exclusively for holiday rental for 6 persons + up to 4 persons (extra bed), 1 further private flat for up to 8 persons after consultation. Each flat has its own terrace and garden.
The house has a very healthy indoor climate due to clay plaster in some of the rooms (asthmatics, allergy sufferers) and many windows (very bright). Partly very wide view in several directions (Bodden, meadows, forest)
Guests can have their breakfast on large sun terraces (ship's deck) and warm themselves at the fireplace stove if required. The house offers a lot of space.
The new part of the flat has just been completed (18.6.2021) and will be further equipped (2 new bedrooms and another large living room with terraces).

Location and surroundings of object
The house is situated in a very quiet location (no through road) in the old part of the village on a square metre plot with adjoining square metre leased meadow almost to the water (harbour village). Large trees (poplars, ash trees, beeches, lime trees, spruces and fruit trees). Sunny terrace situation. Visitors: fox, hare, deer, raccoon dog, badger, variety of birds. The harbour is a 5-minute walk away.

A feel-good house
We rented the whole house and were thrilled all around. It is bright and friendly, spacious, tastefully furnished, very well equipped with all the necessities. The views of the beautifully planted large garden and partly also of the fields are a delight. The garden and large terrace offer plenty of space and there is plenty of seating and loungers. The location is quiet and secluded and the hilly landscape is characterised by water, fields and small forests. All in all, a highly recommended place for peace-loving nature lovers.

Great place to stay
Our first time visit to wonderful Ruegen, staying in this spacious, sunlit and very well-equipped old house, a truly lovely place. We loved to sit on the patio, overlooking the large garden with flowers blooming and the wind rustling in the trees, and felt at home immediately. Everything you'll need for a great holiday, and so much more. Recommended with pleasure.

Spacious, beautiful house, great location.
Finally a holiday home that is really very suitable for several people (including children). Superb equipment (kitchen, furniture, beds... everything), good bathrooms, large terrace, large garden. Quietly located in beautiful nature, close to the bay, a good base for excursions (such as to Hiddensee), pure relaxation. The children were particularly thrilled because they could move around safely on their own in the large garden and the (almost) car-free surroundings, a rather rare pleasure. And last but not least, the attentive and always helpful landlords have given us all a wonderful, stress-free week of holidays in this great house.

Highly recommended
We felt very comfortable in the large holiday apartment of the old mansion. The house has a very special atmosphere in which you quickly forget about everyday life and can simply relax. The garden with its fruit trees and many flowers is an absolutely beautiful spot. The house is great for larger families. The equipment is excellent... everything you need is available. Overall, highly recommended.

Wonderfully relaxing
Very well equipped, lovingly furnished with a personal touch, bright and spacious house with a large garden and a very short walk to the Bodden. We were there with 6 people - the house still offers enough space to retreat. Wonderful the large, sunny kitchen with everything the cook desires; we spent nice sociable evenings there at the big table. The really good beds/mattresses must also be mentioned - not a matter of course in holiday homes, as anyone with potential back problems has probably already experienced painfully. Conclusion: a beautiful, large and comfortable house in a very peaceful corner of Rügen, ideal for relaxing, but also as a starting point for active holidays with hiking, cycling or - thanks to the nearby water access with boat dock - sailing/paddling/rowing. We can wholeheartedly recommend the house and will definitely come back.

Fortunately discovered
The Baltic Sea is always a good idea, even in February, and especially when staying in this beautiful, comfortable house. We were happy to have found it for our vacation week in February! It is nicely decorated with great attention to detail, there is a fireplace if the weather outside gets too uncomfortable, a great kitchen with everything you need, plenty of space to spread out and not get on each other's nerves even in bad weather - perfect. The location is ideal, for example, for peaceful hikes along the Jasmund Bodden, experiencing the best of Rügen's nature! All in all, we have rarely stayed in such a beautiful place and rarely had such nice landlords. Yes, we will definitely come back because we are strongly tempted by a repeat in the summer, partly because of the wonderful garden with its trees and its proximity to the water. Conclusion: highly recommended, or as they say today: "Many Likes!"
