Description
The holiday flat has 80 square metres of living space at ground level and is divided into a living and dining area, two bedrooms, a hallway and entrance area and a large bathroom. Adjacent to the living room is a large balcony with a view of the beautiful North Sea beach and its salt marshes. A large table with four chairs, a beach chair and a parasol are available for the balcony. The living room is generously and attractively divided into a living, dining and kitchen area. The living area consists of a three-seater blue sofa with coffee table and matching armchairs. From here you can enjoy the North Sea from the window - even indoors. The large TV is easy to see and operate in the sofa area. The L-shaped kitchen is conveniently equipped with a hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Right next to it is the modern dining table with 4 chairs. There is a small safe in the living room for your valuables. The two bedrooms are furnished with double beds and a wardrobe each. The double beds have bedside cabinets with reading lamps for cosy reading hours in bed. There is also a second television with DVD player in one bedroom. One bedroom has a window facing the sea and the other bedroom has a view of the sea and the village of Schillig. All windows can be darkened with thick blue curtains. The spacious bathroom with window has a corner bath, a washbasin with vanity unit, a toilet, a walk-in shower and access to the family sauna. The size of the bathroom is ideal for older people with rollators or walking difficulties. The flat can be reached both via a staircase and by lift. It is possible to end or load the car directly in front of the house. A free car park is available in the immediate vicinity.

Location and surroundings of object
Schillig is located next to Horumersiel directly on a kilometre-long sandy beach. From here you can either go on extensive mudflat walks or enjoy the peace and beauty of the Frisian countryside in the sand dunes in front of the beach. It is only about 2 kilometres to the spa town, which can be easily reached on foot or by bike along the beach in just a few minutes. Here you will also find the popular indoor and outdoor swimming pool with a beautiful sauna and wellness area. In the evening, the various restaurants in the town centre offer culinary delights for everyone. Of course, the small shopping street in Schillig also offers various attractions. The Schillig campsite is open from March to October. In addition to a trampoline, minigolf, kite and surf station, beach volleyball court and several playgrounds, events such as kite flying, eating plaice on the beach and much more take place at the weekend. The cocktail bar at the "8 Grad Ost" restaurant right on the beach is always a great attraction for all age groups. Bicycles, scooters, Segways etc. can be hired directly in Schillig. Just one kilometre further inland, you can book horse-drawn carriage rides or riding lessons.

We were absolutely thrilled! The view of the sea is beautiful, especially in the morning when the sun rises and you sit in the beach chair. The apartment is fully equipped with a sauna, bathtub, etc. You can also see that attention to detail was paid in the furnishings. The location is also great! It only takes about 5 minutes to walk to the beach! Overall, we were completely satisfied. Thank you very much!

Wonderful weekend for four!
We booked the apartment for an extended weekend in March and it exceeded all expectations. The easy arrival, the flawless location of the apartment, and the absolutely superbly organized handover of the apartment immediately made us feel comfortable. This comfort was further confirmed by the apartment itself. Both the stunning view and the flawless quality of the apartment including the sauna spoiled us very much. A place to simply feel completely comfortable.
In my opinion, this holiday apartment is worth a stay at any time.

Truly a great vacation rental. From the first moment, we felt very comfortable due to the tasteful and bright furnishings, and even with 4 adults, there was still plenty of space. The equipment of the apartment, the central location, and of course - as our personal highlight - the fantastic view are truly worth the 5 stars in every aspect! Definitely recommend!

Apartment in Schillig
We really liked the apartment. It is located on the 5th floor (with elevator), very spacious and bright, and offers a wonderful panoramic view of the dyke, beach, and sea from the balcony and rooms. The building is newly constructed, and the apartment is tastefully and high-quality furnished. Nothing is missing. Thanks to the two separate bedrooms, four adults could comfortably stay there together.

Traumhafte Wohnung
We stayed in this great holiday apartment for 6 days. As soon as we entered the door, we felt comfortable right away. The panoramic view of the North Sea is breathtaking. We were there as a family with a baby. A new travel cot and a high chair were already in the apartment. The equipment of the apartment is top-notch. Everything was really well thought out. The tasteful decor tops it off. The construction site around it is there, but it didn't bother us at all. All in all, a stylish and lovingly furnished apartment with a feel-good factor. We will gladly come back!

Completely satisfied
The location and facilities on the 5th floor immediately make you feel as if you have arrived for relaxation. Upon entering a bright, friendly setting combined with a 180-degree view of the sea, the vacation starts off positively. The terrace invites you to linger. You can also directly observe the tides to plan your beach and mudflat stays. In short, living here means you can't go too wrong.

Gorgeous view of the North Sea
A top modern apartment, beautifully furnished. We have spent wonderful and relaxing days here. Especially the balcony with a view of nature and the sea has thrilled us. We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to it!

Die ersten Urlaubsgäste
We had a really nice break in a lovingly furnished apartment where everything was thought of. The view from the living room and balcony is fantastic. Since we also had luck with the weather, we were able to go on a bike tour and long walks through the mudflats. Since the bike rental is within walking distance, our car could take a break. Thank you also for the great tips for 8 Grad Ost and Hannys Radcafe - we enjoyed both very much!

We are Ralf and Petra Viehweger. We have owned our flat "WattnMeer" with sea view in Schillig since 2019. I have known Schillig since I was 8 years old. My parents always travelled to the North Sea and the campsite in Schillig to promote our health. The salty sea air is very good for skin and respiratory diseases. I learnt to love the place and the surroundings and was able to pass on my enthusiasm to my husband and our three girls. It's great to see how Schillig is developing more and more. With this WattnMeer holiday flat, we have now moved a little closer to the North Sea and enjoy the breathtaking view from morning to night. Be our guest and enjoy the luxury of looking out to sea in the evening after a sauna session.
