Welcome to Borgo Canto del Maggio, a small paradise between Florence and Arezzo.
Here you find a comfortable, very tastefully furnished holiday apartment for 2-3 persons. The apartment is furnished with great attention to detail and has a bedroom with double bed, a kitchen-living room, bathroom and terrace. Above the bedroom there is a gallery with a single bed so that the apartment is also suitable for a family of three.
Start the day relaxed with a delicious breakfast. The owner Simona spoils you on the romantic breakfast terrace with all kinds of homemade and regional specialities. Breakfast is included in the price.
In summer there are regular dinners at the pool. Enjoy the Tuscan cuisine on warm summer evenings in this wonderful ambience.
In total, Simona rents out 7 holiday apartments, all individually and differently designed.

Location and surroundings of object
The property is located in the old part of the small hamlet of Penna between Florence and Arezzo on the edge of the natural park "Parco Nazionale delle Foreste Casentinesi".
We recommend excursions to Florence and Arezzo, both of which can be easily reached by train from Montevarchi. There are also picturesque small villages in the area.
In the villages of Loro Ciuffenna and Terranuova Bracciolini, about 4 km away, you will find several small shops, a supermarket, pharmacy and bars.

Tuscany in autumn
We spent very quiet and relaxing days at Borgo Canto del Maggio. The landlady was very hospitable, friendly, and professional. Since it was too cold in the mornings for the picturesque terrace, we were served a rich breakfast in the cozy tavern. We enjoyed lying by the pool, surrounded by a romantic vegetable and herb garden with a view of the valley. The apartment was very clean and tastefully designed. In conclusion, we felt very comfortable and would love to come back.
