The Holiday home
Villa del Camino is a delightful country cottage with an infinity swimming pool and panoramic views across the olive grove.
The property is found at the end of a long country lane surrounded by secular olive trees and a variety of fruit trees in grounds extending as far as two hectares. The perfect holiday spot to chill out, relax and soak up the all-inclusive environment by the swimming pool or in the shade of those big old silvery leafed companions of Puglia.
Location
Just a 25-minute drive to the beautiful rocky beaches and coves along the Adriatic coast; a 10-minute drive or 10 minutes by bike to the Messapian town of Ceglie Messapica - the gastronomic capital of Puglia. Villa del Camino is a memorable base from which to explore the other important points of interest and must-see places to visit in the region. Each of Relax Puglia rental houses has a complimentary brochure to ensure you get the most out of your holiday.
Friends & Family
Villa del Camino is ideal for six, two couples and young children or the extended family with Mom and Pop in the studio annex. Equally we can accommodate two more on the sofa bed if you can not leave your friends behind!
Interiors
The main part of the traditional cottage sleeps four (plus room for those extra two!) comfortably with a spacious and adjoined (but not intercommunicating) annex, double bed with shower suite and its own private terrace overlooking the olive grove.
The master double is in the main house suitable for a couple adjacent to the dining area, both of which overlook the pool and south facing terrace. To the rear of the property there is also a snug with a pull-out sofa bed perfect for two small ones or a single adult. The living room (home to the other sofa bed) connects the night rooms to the kitchen.
Bedrooms all have plenty of hanging space and night tables for holiday wear and charging phones and other devices.
The rustic kitchen is well equipped despite its size with large fridge, dishwasher, cooker top and oven. All the comforts squeezed in to ensure you have the right utensils, crockery and pan ware for your cooking creations inspired by the range of fresh foods at the markets and supermarkets.
And depending on the season, you can collect fruits & nuts from the land. Cherries, apricots, pears, figs, almonds, olives,
Exteriors
Villa del Camino looks out on to the rear of the estate, sun terrace and the infinity swimming pool. The sun terrace has seating for all kinds of relaxation and meditation, shaded, semi-shaded or in the full southern Italian sun. Hammocks beneath the large olives provide an ideal spot to read that book you have been meaning to digest.
There is private parking to the property accessed through the main entrance. The property is located far off the main roads that connect Ceglie Messapica and the neighbouring town of St. Michele Salentino, through winding country lanes ideal for cycling and evening walks before dinner or a quick five minute drive.
New for next season! A BBQ and outside kitchen area are under construction for the 2019 season.
