We felt very comfortable, the apartment is lovingly furnished and it really has everything you need; the landlords are very accommodating and happy to help. In the area you can go hiking, visit museums, castles, etc.

Recommendation values for holiday apartments near the Neckar river

We were greeted by a nice, hospitable couple with great care for the well-being of their guests. Even our national flag was raised high! On arrival, the landlord took the time to show us around the area with pictures and explanations.
The apartment was more than fully equipped, at the moment there were very hot days, but in our area of the house it remained pleasantly cool. Our terrace offered a view of a small, but well-maintained garden.
From Neckargemünd, it is easy to reach Heidelberg or in the eastern direction to towns like Mosbach and Ehrbach (recommended). There are many hiking opportunities in the area.
We also found the apartment to be highly recommended.

Highly recommended

The vacation rental is very well equipped and everything is very clean. The landlords are extremely friendly and accommodating. The apartment is bright and friendly and pleasantly cool even in hot weather, but not cold, and very quiet at night. You can do a lot by train (Heidelberg, Bad Wimpfen, Bad Rappenau are recommended). Parking is available behind the train station on Güterbahnhofstraße. The ferry crossing in Neckarhäuserhof or a short hike to Burgveste Dilsberg (definitely visit Cafe Goldrand) are also nice.

Holidays in May.

Some time has passed now and we still think back with great joy to the wonderful time in Mückenloch.
We liked the wooded area with its many castles, ruins and palaces on the Neckar. The BuGa in Mannheim was also particularly nice.
The beautiful, cozy and tastefully furnished holiday apartment had also contributed to our well-being. It was very clean and lacked nothing. The landlords were very friendly, courteous and always approachable. We felt very comfortable.
A heartfelt thank you to the Eisenhauer couple.
We would love to come back sometime.

Expectations exceeded

The holiday home is situated in a beautiful landscape and it is possible to explore the area on foot. Shopping facilities are easy to reach by car, but there is also a shop in the village. The landlords gave us a warm welcome and you can get lots of tips for shopping and organising your holiday if you need them. The flat is very well equipped and very clean. There were no wishes left unfulfilled in this respect. The apartment is located at the bottom of the house and provides coolness in hot weather - that was very pleasant! We enjoyed the terrace very much!
The flat is highly recommended for nature-loving people with a car!

Very nice holiday flat in a great location

The flat is fully equipped (nothing is missing) and there is even a washing machine. The location of the flat is ideal for many activities. There are many things to do within a radius of 50 km (maximum), e.g. Heidelberg, the Sinsheim Technology Museum, Schwetzingen Castle, a trolley ride in the Odenwald, many very beautiful places in the Odenwald ect.ect. The landlords are very nice and very helpful. We can recommend the flat without reservation.

Simply unique

We can only recommend this vacation rental. We were greeted very friendly by the hosts. The apartment is equipped with everything, just like at home. It really lacks nothing. We have never had such a beautiful accommodation before in terms of dimensions. Everything is perfectly furnished and thought out. We especially liked the beautiful terrace with a view of the garden. Super gemütliche Ferienwohnung

Vom 28.2. bis 8.3.2019 durften wir zu Gast in dieser wunderschönen Ferienwohnug sein. Die Ferienwohnung ist bis ins letzte Detail liebevoll eingerichtet und die Gastgeber sind bemüht jeden Wunsch unverzüglich zu erfüllen.

Highly recommended holiday flat

The flat is very nice, large and tastefully furnished. There is simply nothing missing. The beautiful, quiet terrace invites you to relax and sleep as well as at home in the senior-friendly beds. There was a lot of information material and the nice landlord and landlady advised us very well.
We were welcomed with homemade fig jam and freshly harvested sweet figs. .

Satisfied all round

We felt very comfortable. The flat lacked nothing. Super equipment. But the best thing was the terrace. You could sit there and read and forget the world all around you.
The landlords were open to all questions and spoiled us with freshly harvested figs.
There is a lot to see and do in the surrounding area. You should definitely have seen Heidelberg. Simply great.
We can only warmly recommend the flat. We were completely satisfied. Thank you!

Köstlich kühle Ferienwohnung !!!

„Warum in die Ferne schweifen? Sieh, das Gute liegt so nah!“
Im heißen Sommer 2018 sind wir aus der Westpfalz in die Kurpfalz gereist, um Urlaub am Neckar zu machen. Wir haben mit der Araucaria eine köstlich kühle Ferienwohnung vorgefunden und konnten hier die Hitzewelle prima aushalten. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, großzügig, hell und freundlich – und wirklich dauerhaft kühl. Wir haben sehr nette Vermieter angetroffen, die jederzeit hilfsbereit, aber auch angenehm zurückhaltend sind. Und die uns mit kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten erfreut haben – z.B. frischen Feigen aus eigenem Garten! Sehr hilfreich auch die für Gäste reservierte kostenlose Parkmöglichkeit in der Altstadt von Neckargemünd.
Drei Wochen haben wir kleine und große Wanderungen und Ausflüge gemacht, in einer äußerst reizvollen Landschaft, die neben den Klassikern wie dem Heidelberger Schloss eine Vielzahl von landschaftlichen und kulturellen Besonderheiten bereithält. Unbedingt lohnenswert – wir hätten locker noch eine Woche anhängen können!

Sehr gute Erholung -tolle Lage

Nach einer wundervollen Woche mußten wir uns leider wieder auf den Heimweg machen. wir haben uns inder schönen wohnung/viel Platz) sehr wohl gefühlt. Es stimmte alles! Die gemütliche Terrasse hat es uns nach einer langen Fahrradtour sehr angetan. Die Wohnung werden wir gerne weiterempfehlen.

Goede vakantiewoning in het Neckartal vlakbij Heidelberg.

Deze vakantiewoning is ons (3 volwassenen) goed bevallen. Het is een ruime woning en alles wat je nodig hebt, is aanwezig. Er is ook een fijn overdekt terras, grenzend aan de tuin waar je ook gebruik van kunt maken. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk en geven je graag tips en informatie. De woning ligt in een rustige woonwijk in het stadsdeel Müchenloch. In dit stadsdeel is niet zoveel te beleven (enkele kleine winkels voor de eerste levensbehoeften), maar in Neckargemünd zelf (op 5 km afstand) vind je o.a. enkele grote supermarkten en een paar restaurants. Ook is daar een heerlijk buitenzwembad en een fietsenverhuur (die wel wat prijzig is). Vanuit Neckargemünd (gratis parkeren) kun je makkelijk met de bus (of trein of boot) naar bijv. de mooie stad Heidelberg.
Kortom: een prima onderkomen en lokatie voor wandelingen, fietstochtjes en uitstapjes in de mooie omgeving van het Neckartal.

Radtouren im Odenwald und am Neckar

Sehr schöne, bis ins letzte Detail ausgestattete und dekorierte Wohnung. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Nette Vermieter. Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Der Holzofenbäcker im angrenzenden Ort ist zu empfehlen. Größerer Einkauf im gut ausgestatteten REWE Markt auf der gegenüberliegenden Neckarseite möglich. Speyer ist unbedingt ein Besuch wert und das dort direkt am Rhein gelegene Restaurant "Alter Hammer" zu empfehlen. Die als Rad- und Wanderstrecke ausgebaute stillgelegte Bahnstrecke von Mosbach nach Mudau ist super.

Ausgezeichnet

Die Ferienwohnung ist mit dem Preis - Leistungsverhältnis kaum zu Topen !! Fünf Sterne sind auf jeden fall Gerechtfertigt. Vollausgestattet und sehr Gemütlich eingerichtet ,da kann man sich nur wohlfühlen!
Die sehr freundliche Vermieter sind immer ansprechbar für Tipps und Ratschläge.
Wir möchten uns für Ihre Gastfreundschaft nochmals bedanken.

Eine tolle Wohnung mit superberen Vermietern

Wir hatten für eine Woche diese Wohnung gemietet und haben es nicht bereut. Es hat uns dort an nichts gefehlt, von A- wie Alufolie bis Z-wie Zahnstocher, es war einfach alles vorhanden. Sogar verschiedene Kopfkissenarten zur Auswahl gab es.(das hatten wir bisher noch in keiner FW) Und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist einfach top.
Unbedingt aber erwähnen möchten wir auch die sehr netten Vermieter.
Alles in allem ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt. Wir können diese FW nur empfehlen und kommen bestimmt wieder.

Traumhaft

Wir danken fuer eine fantastische Woche im Odenwald! Der Empfang war herzlich, die Ausstattung der Wohnung hervorragend und die Terrasse in der bisher schoensten Woche dieses Sommers das Tuepfelchen auf dem i.
Die Stadt Heidelberg (mit Bergbahn) hat uns sehr beeindruckt. Der Hockenheimring (ja.... wir sind formel 1 fans) und der Besuch an Speyer haben einen ebenso unvergesslichen Eindruk hinterlassen wie die Adlerwarte an der Burg Gutenberg. Alleine schon der Weg dorthin war ein Traum.

Sehr empfehlenswert, daher fünf Sterne ohne zu zögern! Ich kann mich meinem "Vorbewerter" nur anschließen: Die Ferienwohnung "Araucaria" ist komplett ausgestattet, sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Ein besonderes Plus sind die netten Vermieter, die immer auskunftsbereit für ihre Gäste da sind. Wenn dann noch das Wetter mitspielt, ist ein gelungener Urlaub vorprogrammiert.

Dahin möchte man gerne wieder...

Wer in der FeWo "Araucaria" seinen Urlaub verbringt, findet eine voll ausgestattete, sehr gemütliche Unterkunft und nette, warmherzige Vermieter vor. Die Größe des bis ins Detail liebevoll eingerichteten, sehr sauberen Feriendomizils ist überwältigend, man fühlt sich sofort sehr wohl. Es fehlt an nichts und man kehrt nach seinen Tagesunternehmungen immer wieder gerne zurück. Es gibt eine Fülle an Informationen, womit in der nahen und weiteren Umgebung die sowieso immer zu kurze Urlaubszeit genutzt werden kann. Die Ferienwohnung liegt in einem kleinen Ortsteil von Neckargemünd. Die Anzahl der Sterne für die "Lage" muss jeder für sich selbst einschätzen. Die Einen mögen Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit, andere fühlen sich im Brennpunkt des Trubels wohl. Ich habe sie bewusst nicht verändert, da sie als Ausgangspunkt für diverse Aktivitäten geeignet ist. Man kann auch auf das Auto verzichten und sich ganz auf die regionalen öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel einlassen, selbst wenn das eventuell bedeutet, zeitlich eingeschränkt zu sein.
