Description
The North Sea beach can be reached on foot via the nearby beach access in about 150 meters away via a ramp. The center of Renesse (1500 meters) and a variety of restaurants, cafes and shops (100 - 500 meters) are also within walking distance or within a few minutes by bike.
The "Beach Lodge" offers a modern and harmonious holiday atmosphere that you can enjoy alone or with the whole family. The modern and bright beach club style furnished holiday home is suitable for a maximum of 6 persons.
The open-plan living area on the ground floor invites you to relax, read and have a nice conversation and offers you a large couch landscape, complemented by a modern media equipment.
The spacious and light-flooded kitchen and dining area on the ground floor is designed in such a way that promotes the social interaction and can already make breakfast a common experience. The dining table invites to convivial food, Klönen and extensive games evenings. The kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances and covers all major standards in sufficient quantities.
This holiday home has a total of three bedrooms, one of which is located on the ground floor. This bedroom has a private bathroom on suite. On the ground floor you will also find a separate toilet.
On the first floor you will find the other two bedrooms, as well as a second bathroom. Again, a separate toilet was realized.
Thanks to its ideal south facing position, this property offers a beautifully landscaped garden area where you can enjoy the sun from morning to night.
At the front is a large south-facing sun terrace and a covered lounge seating area. Furthermore, there is also a separate garden table and sun loungers available. The sun terrace also has a screen in the form of a small sand dune and wooden palisades.
At the back of the house is another covered terrace, which is not directly visible and which can also be used as a covered garaging for your bikes.
On the property there are also two own, spacious car parking spaces on which even larger vehicles find enough space.
During your stay at "Villapark Zonnedorp" you can use the facilities of "Camping Zonnedorp". If you have any questions, please contact the campsite reception directly.

Location and surroundings of object
Renesse is after Domburg one of the oldest beach resorts in Zeeland. As tourism began to boom in 1900, local entrepreneurs became more enterprising and built small tourist facilities. The first "refreshment tent" was opened, the predecessor of today's beach pavilions, where swimwear was rented in this refreshment tent.
Renesse is located on the north side of the island of Schouwen-Duiveland, where its popularity is still increasing due to its ideal location. Today, the village and its immediate surroundings offer a lot of entertainment for young and old. Today you will find a large selection of beach pavilions, sidewalk cafes, shops and entertainment venues.
In front of the shore of the village there are wide sandbars where seals regularly lay in the sun. The extensive North Sea coast near Renesse is particularly beautiful here, with a nearly 20 km long sandy beach, which is on the so-called "Verklikkerduinen" up to several hundred meters wide. This dune area is characterized by wet dune valleys with many colorful and fragrant dune plants. Large rabbit families live here and for many birds this is also a popular breeding ground.
Several hiking trails in the immediate vicinity of Renesse lead through the beautiful landscape, through herds of wild Shetland ponies and Scottish highland cattle. In Westerschouwen this area merges seamlessly into the largest forest of Zeeland, "de Domeinen". Along this coastal route you will also find one of the most beautiful mountain bike routes in our country.
The area around Renesse is perfect for long bike rides through a landscape that is only occasionally seen in the Netherlands. The many quiet little country roads take you past characteristic villages and allow you various safe bike rides.
The most famous buildings in Renesse are the gothic "Jacobuskerk" in the middle of the old village center and from the 13th century "Slot Moermond". The castle is located in the 45-acre park "Landgoed Moermond" and is used only for celebrations. The castle is unfortunately not open to visitors.
North of Renesse lies the Grevelingenmeer with the Brouwersdam. Here active contemporaries can practice many sports on and around the water. For example, the Grevelingenmeer is a special diving destination and the Brouwersdam is a popular surfing spot due to its location.
Leaving Renesse in a southerly direction, you will reach the world-famous Delta Works with the impressive Oosterscheldekering. This storm surge barrier connects, inter alia, the island of Schouwen-Duiveland with the island of Neeltje Jans, where you can visit the eponymous family water park.
In Renesse you will find a large supermarket, a drugstore, a bakery, a bicycle rental and a variety of shops, restaurants and sidewalk cafes. There are various entertainment options for teens. At the edge of the village is the "Transferium", where you can park for free and use free transport to the beaches, the city center and the campsites during the season.
Also visit the old Dutch cities Zierikzee, Veere and Middelburg or Zeeland's other famous resort Domburg.
