Only a few minutes walk you are already on the beach. The cozy beach pavilion "Paal 6" is open all year round.
Julianadorp received again the "blue flag". The Blue Flag is an international award given annually to beaches whose seawater quality and beach facilities are high. The icing on the cake in the series of awards for Julianadorp 2018 is the plaque for the cleanest beach in North Holland.
In Den Helder, at about 6 km away are many attractions: including rescue museum, naval museum, children's paradise, bowling center, cinema center, Japanese Garden and Fort Kijkduin with a North Sea Aquarium.
In spring, the flowering flower bulb fields are a real feast for the eyes.
