The Kapitänshaus in Kollmar is a large holiday home on the Elbe near the North Sea and Hamburg. The approx. 120 year old house was extensively renovated in 1975, 2012 and 2019 and was optimally furnished by us for 2 families with children or for a small group. Great care has been taken to preserve the charm of the old house to a large extent. The house offers a view of the Elbe or the wonderfully enchanted garden with old fruit trees. Here the residents find space to play and relax. Families with children are very welcome. A baby cot, high chair and nappy-changing facilities are available for the little ones. On the ground floor there is a beautiful kitchen and in the attic there is a living room of over 50 sqm with visible roof beams.

Location and surroundings of object
A holiday in the Elbmarschland between Hamburg and the North Sea means flat land, the Elbe, lots of sheep and orchards. The area is very rural and you need a car for the things in life. The salient features for a holiday with us in the north are nature, lots of space, letting your soul dangle, physical activities and excursions to Hamburg or the North Sea to the mudflats.
The house is located directly on the dyke in a "dead-end situation" because the Krückau flows about 1 km away, separating the Kollmar marsh from the Seester marsh. Due to this circumstance you are in a protected landscape area with resident traffic, many sheep, horses and cows and an immense bird population - especially wild geese and ducks. The protected garden is at your free disposal and is used solely by the guests.

Gleichwohl ist der Vermieter bemüht, das Mietobjekt anderweitig zu vermieten.

Dear Guest, i have been successfully renting out the Kapitänshaus since 2012. The guests are very satisfied. The top 3 of the previous guests are the good equipment of the house and kitchen, the view of the Elbe and the quietness I enjoy the personal contact with the guests. On average, 8-10 guests come to the house per visit. Usually families with children. You can explore a lot from Kollmar. Countless brochures and leaflets from previous guests are in the house.
