Description

The 4-star holiday home "Haus Karin" is located in the heritage town of Plön, in the heart of the Holstein Switzerland Nature Park. It celebrated its opening in May 2018. The terraced house with 120sqm has 4 bedrooms with 7 beds, 2 bathrooms with shower and 1 kitchen with hatch into the combined dining and living room. In front of the house, which can be reached by car via a private path, is a lovingly tended front garden with numerous hydrangeas. Next to the private path rises a wooded hill, the so-called Kinderwald. Behind the house our guests will find a terrace with a beach chair, barbecue, a small lawn and a rose bed. A bathroom with shower/WC is located on the ground floor and on the first floor. There are also all 4 bedrooms. One room has a single bed and one has a double bunk bed. In two other rooms there are two single beds and one double bed. From the large bedroom, where there is also a cot, you have access to a balcony which, like the property, is south-facing. Two handrails have been installed in the staircase to make it suitable for senior citizens. A shower seat has been installed in the shower on the upper floor, which has a flat entrance. Haus Karin has satellite TV and free Wi-Fi access. There are a sufficient number of public parking spaces in the immediate vicinity.

Location and surroundings of object

For children, the "adventure playground" is only a stone's throw away. The indoor swimming pool, a restaurant, a hairdresser, a Sparkasse self-service machine and a fitness centre are about a 5-minute walk away. The Große Plöner See, the largest inland lake in Schleswig-Holstein, is about 250m from the holiday home. The Plöner See round trip, the Bosaufahrt and the 5-Seen-Fahrt invite you to discover Holstein Switzerland from the water. Guided canoe tours are also offered in Plön. From the holiday home, it is only a few minutes' walk in each case to reach the Behler See, the Höftsee, the Schöhsee, the Edebergsee (departure of the 5 Lakes Tour) or the Großer Plöner See. In addition to the aforementioned lake tour, a mini-golf course, a kiosk, a bocce court, a tennis court and the "Fegetasche bathing area" invite you to linger here. If you want to go into town, you can take the city bus, which takes our guests to the centre within 10 minutes. The bus stop is less than 5 minutes away on foot. In Plön you can immerse yourself in the time of the dukes and the empire. Places of interest are the historic railway station located at the ZOB, which also houses the tourist information, the market square with the Nikolai Church, the town hall with the Gänseliesel fountain, the small dreamy Twieten, St. John's Church, the district museum and Plön Castle with the castle complex, which also includes the so-called Prinzenhaus. At the tip of a long peninsula, the "Prinzeninsel", the restaurant "Niedersächsisches Bauernhaus" invites you to linger. The second bus line that runs in Plön takes you to the Parnaßturm, which was inaugurated in 1888 and offers a magnificent view over the roofs of Plön and its surroundings. On a clear day, you can see as far as Kiel or catch a glimpse of Bungsberg, the highest mountain in Schleswig-Holstein at 168m. The main roads 76 (Kiel-Lübeck) and 430 (Neumünster-Lütjenburg) cross in Plön. The Kiel-Lübeck railway line runs directly along the Great Plön Lake, with a DB train stopping every half hour. The state capital Kiel is 30km away, the Queen of the Hanse Lübeck about 45km. Hamburg can be reached by car in about an hour. In the immediate vicinity you will find the amusement park Hansapark Sierksdorf (30km), the festival town Eutin (15km), the health resort Bad Malente-Gremsmühlen (10km), the island of Fehmarn (70km) and Bad Segeberg (40km), where the Karl May Festival takes place every year. The Baltic Sea is only about half an hour away by car. Here the holidaymaker has several possibilities to get to the water: Hohwacht, Sehlendorfer Strand, Scharbeutz with the "Ostsee-Therme" and Laboe with the naval memorial on the Kiel Fjord. Haus Karin is open all year round and looks forward to your visit.

Dogs are welcome for €5 per night, but only one pet per booking. There is also an energy fee of €3.50 per night. Tourist tax of €1.50 per person is payable locally from 15 May to 15 September.

Cancellation terms:

  • Free cancellation option until 30 days before the day of arrival.
  • Sollte der Mieter von seiner Buchung zurücktreten müssen, so ist ein Rücktritt vom Vertrag nur schriftlich möglich. Die Stornierungskosten für den Mieter betragen wie folgt: - Stornierung bis 30 Tage vor Mietbeginn: keine - Stornierung ab 29. Tag bis 14. Tag vor Mietbeginn: 50 % des Mietpreises - Stornierung ab 13. Tag vor Mietbeginn: 100 % des Mietpreises. Maßgeblich ist der Eingang der schriftlichen Rücktrittserklärung bei dem Vermieter.

The obligatory final cleaning is charged at 100€. Dogs are welcome for €5 per night, but only one pet per booking. Due to the increased energy prices, we unfortunately see ourselves forced to charge an energy fee of 3,50€ per night at the moment. Tourist tax of €1.50 per person is payable locally from 15 May to 15 September. We kindly ask you not to walk around the house with street shoes. Smoking in the house is prohibited. Ashtrays are provided for you on the terrace and balcony. Thank you very much!
