Description
Welcome to the holiday home Colonia in the beautiful surroundings of the Emsland. In the middle of the Seepark-Eiken, a fully equipped holiday home awaits you with many amenities, such as flat screen TV, WLAN which is not designed for online games, DVD player, washing machine and dryer. The holiday park has a large lake that invites you to swim and go boating, which will be especially interesting for children
In the lake park there is a restaurant with good home-style and also international cuisine, adventure playgrounds for the little holiday guests and of course the large bathing lake. For relaxation in cooler temperatures, there is a wellness sauna on the premises, which can be used for a fee.

The Emsland extends over 2,880,km² from the North Rhine-Westphalian state border near Rheine to the border of East Frisia near Papenburg and offers a wide range of cultural and active activities for its guests
In terms of area, Emsland is larger than the federal state of Saarland, making it the largest administrative district in Lower Saxony and one of the largest in Germany. Currently, more than people live in the district of Emsland, which was formed on 1 August 1977 from the districts of Aschendorf-Hümmling, Meppen and Lingen
Neighbours to the west are the Netherlands, with which there are many-sided relations across a common state border some 60 km long. In the east, the districts of Cloppenburg and Osnabrück border on Emsland, in the southwest the district of Grafschaft Bentheim.

For a relaxing and varied stay, the Emsland offers you various excursion destinations. A welcome opportunity to use the Emsland and its surroundings for excellent hiking and cycling tours. Almost km of clearly signposted cycle paths leave nothing to be desired. Whether hikers, hobby cyclists or families with children - they will all find the right route on the numerous routes.

Short trip
If you are looking for peace and relaxation, you will find it here one hundred percent. The Seepark is more suited for the older generation. Not suitable for children in my opinion, as there are too few options here besides biking and swimming in the lake. Sauna and an amusement park are mentioned. However, they are nowhere to be found. It is also a shame that the only restaurant in the park has limited opening hours.

pure relaxation
The rented vacation house "Colonia" was perfect for our vacation with the grandchildren. Great location, spacious vacation home, fully equipped and also a beautiful garden. What more could you want?
The facility was very well maintained and quiet, with a beautiful bathing lake with a sandy beach and large sunbathing areas.

Kurzurlaub
Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus, komfortabel ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Ruhige Lage in einem sehr schönen kleinen Ferienpark. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Moin!!
Es waren wunderschöne Tage im blitzsauberen Haus Colonia.
Nichts hat gefehlt, alles was man benötigt, ist vorhanden. Und die Umgebung ist traumhaft.
Hier kann man die freien Tage wunderbar genießen.
Zur Festung Bourtange in Holland (mit den vorhandenen Fahrrädern) und mit dem Auto
zur Kreisstadt Leer und zum Städtchen Ditzum (Fischrestaurant!!) ist es auch nicht zu weit.
(Und nächstes Mal geht's zur Meyer-Werft)

Erholung pur
Mein Mann und ich nebst Hund haben im Haus Colonia zehn wunderschöne Tage verbracht. Alles war sauber, ordentlich und die Ausstattung ließ auch keine Wünsche offen. Sehr schön ist der Garten, wo man gemütlich in der Sonnenecke seinen Kaffee genießen und auf der überdachten Terrasse frisch gegrillte Speisen zu sich nehmen kann. Besonders gefreut hat uns als Hundehalter, dass der Garten komplett blickdicht und ausbruchsicher eingezäunt ist.
Mit dem Auto kann man diverse Geschäfte, Restaurants etc. schnell erreichen und ein Ausflug nach Papenburg ist auch sehr empfehlenswert (Meyer Werft, Von-Velen-Anlage, Innenstadt).
Bei unserem nächsten Besuch im Emsland werden wir das Haus Colonia gern wieder buchen.

Toller Haus für Mensch uns Tier
In diesem Ferienhaus fehlte es an nichts.Da der Garten primär eingezäunt ist und niemanden reinschauen kann,blieb ein Dauerbellen unser Hunde komplett aus.Ein Haus;dass sehr gepflegt uns liebevoll eingerichtet ist.

Beautiful accommodation
We (4 people + dogs) spent 5 beautiful days in the Colonia accommodation. The entire process and communication with the landlord went smoothly. We didn't want for anything in the accommodation itself. It was also nice to see the lake, which is only a 1-minute walk away and could even be seen from the garden. About 20 minutes away from the accommodation is an even larger lake - the Dankernsee - where you could

Absolut erholsam!
Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub! Das Ferienhaus ist super eingerichtet, gepflegt und schön sauber. Uns fehlte es an nichts. Kochen und Backen geht alles (eine Auflaufform wäre noch super). Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter und dem Hausmeister vor Ort war sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit.
Es ist sehr ruhig. Die Terrasse liegt gut sichtgeschützt. Auch an warmen Tagen blieben die Anstürme auf den See aus. Die Umgebung mit seinen vielen Mooren und Badeseen erkundet man unbedingt auch mit dem Rad. Das Emsland verfügt über tolle Radfahrwege. Holland ist nicht weit und Papenburg ist ebenfalls eine Reise wert.
Wir kommen gern wieder!

We like to come back
We felt super comfortable right from the start. Everything you need on a daily basis is there. Everything was perfectly prepared. I have written down suggestions for improvement or tips in the guest book.

Small holiday paradise
The house has a great, optimal location in the Seepark Eiken. The furnishings are top, very well maintained and there is everything you need. The outdoor area including the garden is wonderful and perfectly laid out
