Description
The town of Diano Marina is located on the Italian Riviera of Flowers between Alassio and San Remo. About 60 km east of Monte Carlo. Our village is called Diano San Pietro and is located 3 km inland. The exit from Genoa is coming It is a 1986 built, separate house. The floor area is approx. 36 m². Through different levels results in a living space of approximately 60 m², in addition there is a south-facing terrace with 7 m² and sea view. The house is usually designed for 3-4 people. 2 beds in the basement, 1 double bed (140cm wide) on a gallery accessible through a wooden step. For a possible 4th guest is also a sofa bed available. It is important to know that there are no doors inside the house (except toilet and bathroom). The individual levels can not be completed. Please understand that we do not accept pets (dogs and cats). Furthermore, we ask the smoker not to smoke in the house. Take advantage of our balcony or the covered space in front of the house.

Liguria is the Italian Riviera that stretches from the French border to Tuscany. Some of the best known beach resorts are located on this coastline. The town of Diano Marina is located on the Italian Riviera of Flowers between Alassio and San Remo. About 60 km east of Monte Carlo. Our village is called Diano San Pietro and is located 3 km inland. The motorway exit from Genoa is San Bartolomeo al Mare. Diano San Pietro lies in the quiet, evergreen olive hills behind and above the coast in an organic landscape (85 m above sea level). Spared the tourist bustle and traffic noise in Diano Marina. However, you would have to accept church bells, frog quills and rooster crows in our shop. Few peasant families with chickens, rabbits and cats make up the neighborhood.
The house and the recreational opportunities: The house is located on the edge of the village. Nevertheless, post office, pharmacy and two grocery stores as well as a butcher and a restaurant are within a five-minute walk. The beach is km away. Those who do not want to strain with the car, can use the daily several times moving bus to Diano Marina. Many of our holiday guests do not just want to rest, but also to experience something. The cultural and scenic attractions of the province of Imperia are so numerous that you can not enumerate them. Whether small walks from the house without a car or longer hikes. The range extends from classical chamber music in Cervo (5 km) to the horse race in Nice (90 km). From the famous golf course in Garlenda (25 km) to the curvy water slide for children (2 km). Whether big fireworks in Diano Marina (to see from the house) or car racing in Monte Carlo (about 1 hour from us). Many museums and exhibitions complement the possibilities.
Climate and water quality: As the blue water level of the Mediterranean spreads in front of the land, the climate is mild in every season and world-famous for 150 years. An average of 3,000 hours of sunshine per year guarantee an excellent holiday climate. Frost, ice and snow are unknown.
The bandiere blu is awarded every year by the EC Commission for Water Quality and Condition of the Beaches. Liguria has the lion's share of the highly coveted and awarded flags in Italy (after all, almost a third of a total of 36!) Among the excellent seaside resorts is Diano Marina.

When you enter the cottage you are in the kitchen. On the left you can reach the lower floor via the stairs to two beds. Straight from you would come to the bathroom. A half floor up you are in the living area.
Here you have access to the balcony or via a small staircase to the gallery to a third bed (double bed 140cm). The sofa can be folded out and offers another sleeping space (140cm).

Not recommended
On the day of arrival, I noticed that the toilet was clogged. I reported it to the landlord on the second day. On the third day, someone supposedly came to fix it, but that wasn't the case. The landlord was hardly reachable, and there was no callback. On the penultimate day of the vacation, I waited all day for the caretaker, but to no avail. On the last day, a company was called, and they finally managed to fix it. So for the entire 7 days, we had no toilet, meaning we could only use the toilet while out. It is unreasonable when children are present. On the other hand, multiple people also have a key to the house and can enter.
