In the rent-free periods, the owner himself inhabits the Monte e Mar. It was not designed as a holiday home but for permanent living and is equipped with fireplace, central heating and air conditioning in all 3 bedrooms, the kitchen and the living room. They live generously on about 250 square meters. Except for the kitchen, all rooms are south facing. An approximately 100 square meter pergola provides pleasant shade in summer. The panels are dismantled in winter, then the sun warms the house for free. This works very well as we have about 320 sunny days a year. Warm water is generated by solar panels.
On the ground floor is the entrance area, the kitchen, the living room / dining room and 2 bedrooms with their bathrooms. Here you will find spacious terraces with direct access from the kitchen, living room and the bedrooms. Upstairs is the master bedroom, bedroom, bathroom, dressing room. Also includes a south - terrace of about 65 square meters. In all 3 bathrooms you will find a hair dryer to dry your hair.
A few steps lead to the pool with Roman steps. Here you can also splash around with your toddler. The pool has a size of 5 x 10 m, the depth is about m to m. On the pool terrace you will find a shower and comfortable loungers with thick pads. Bath towels are available.
The entire property is lavishly surrounded by natural stone walls and secured with an automatic gate system. You can park your vehicle safely on the property during your stay. There is room for many vehicles. You can also leave your boat or motorhome for free during your rental period.
The Monte e Mar is equipped with professional mosquito nets and has an alarm system.

Location and surroundings of object
The stately sea - view pool villa Monte e Mar is alone but not lonely. It has an official leasing license AL 13778 and is exactly south facing. It is located above Faro and has a beautiful view of about 40 km of coastline. The picturesque and still very original Estoi with its palace lies below the Monte e Mar. You look at the palace and the Roman ruins of Milreu over Faro to the Atlantic. The motorway connection is about 3 km away and the transfer time from the airport is only about 20 minutes. Tavira, small Venice, Olhao, Loule, Marina Vilamoura, Albufeira are quickly reached, to the Spanish border is about 55 km, in 2 hours you are in Seville and in 3 hours in Lisbon if you use the highway. And if you go to the southwesternmost point of Europe to Sagres you can eat there the last bratwurst before America. But do not forget the thick sweater, because it usually winds there very strong.
In the evening you can admire the glittering world of Faro and in winter you can cuddle up by the fireplace or warm up your holiday home quickly with the central heating system.

Between Faro and the west coast you can reach the beaches directly by car and from Faro to Spain are islands off the mainland. This is a huge nature reserve, called Ria Formosa. Here you can reach the beaches on the islands with regular ferries or taxi boats.
