Description
The former raftsman's house is located about 25 km from Galå Fjällgård near the village of Fotingen
The house is equipped with solar power. This supplies the house with electricity for the refrigerator, light and the possibility to charge batteries. Cold and hot water is connected in the kitchen and bathroom. The water supply is regulated by a storage tank in the bathroom, which is filled with water using a convenient hand pump. A toilet is located outside.
The house has a canoe that guests of the house can use during the rental period.
A small fireplace is built in front of the house for campfires.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is in a secluded location directly on the Fotingen lake. It is easily accessible by car from the main road via a 2 km long driveway. From the house you have a view of the mountains of Klövsjö, where you can make great hikes.

Silence and loneliness
Our very high expectations of peace and solitude were absolutely fulfilled in the house by the lake. The beautiful property, idyllically located by the lake, has a lot of charm and offers a super functional equipment and absolute cleanliness. We think back fondly on the week.

A wonderful time in nature
We spent a whole summer in this wonderfully situated house and it was everything we had dreamed of. It has everything it needs and yet a simple life in and with nature is possible: fishing, canoeing, swimming, picking berries, observing animals, cooking on the fire... Most of all we appreciated the remoteness of the cottage and yet still having contact with civilisation. And the location at the lake is simply a dream!
The landlords are very helpful, experienced and eager that their guests are well!

Resting point
A wonderful place to come to rest and at the same time to try out a bit of self-sufficiency. It is precisely the fact that not everything meets the most modern requirements that makes this place so charming. And yet everything is there: Water, shower, fridge, cooking facilities. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet, the great view from the jetty and the fireplace. The landlords are very friendly and approachable and have an open ear for requests.
