We moved to this beautiful area in 1994 and rent out our exclusive holiday home for discerning guests, a stone's throw from the Schlosskurs golf course and 4 other golf courses. There is also tennis, surfing, kiting, water skiing and horse riding. Discuss your wishes for an unforgettable holiday directly with us. Please also note our identical house CASA CAVALLO!
The house was completed in 2013 and offers many amenities such as sauna, outdoor whirlpool with 38° all year round, fireplace, Wi-Fi and TVs in all rooms. From the breakfast table on the balcony you can enjoy a wide view over the picturesque landscape, which has hardly changed for 300 years. The bread roll service brings the rolls fresh daily, of course.
On 2 floors you will find 3 bedrooms (2 x 180 x 200 cm double beds, 2x 90 x200 cm single beds) and 2 bathrooms.

Our LEONARDO holiday home is quietly located on the edge of the Land Fleesensee holiday complex amidst fields and meadows on the Mecklenburg Lake District, which invites you to enjoy a variety of water sports. All year round you can play golf, go on cycling tours, experience nature in the nearby Müritz National Park and especially in autumn at the time of the crane migration. Visit numerous castles, exhibitions and landscape parks and, last but not least, the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Festival with high-ranking artists and 120 concerts from March until Advent.
In cold winters, you can let off steam on an ice rink closed from Hamburg to Berlin.

Here, it seems that only money is to be made.
The house is advertised for discerning guests. However, it would need to be much better maintained for that. It was built, the photos taken, and then no further investment made.
There are only 2 (!) lounge chairs for approx. 10 guests! ) In the garden, the cushions are dirty and torn, a socket is half out of the wall in one bedroom, the garden light is lying on the lawn with its power cable exposed, the towel holders are wobbly, the hairdryer holder is broken, only 2 coffee cups are available, a broken shot glass is in the cupboard, the umbrella stand is so wobbly that we feared the umbrella would fall over, overall cleanliness is lacking everywhere. I definitely wouldn't place any food on the baking sheet, it's dirty in the corners. Inside and outside. Stains on the walls, cobwebs in the corners. The grill is broken. The own homepage advertises with Sky TV, but it's not available. The Wi-Fi constantly cuts out.
For 25 euros per person, you get bedding, one large and two small towels. For two weeks and with a whirlpool and sauna, it's far too little. The dishwasher was missing salt and rinse aid. The plates in the cupboard also showed clear signs of the previous tenants.
Overall, the deficiencies could be easily fixed. Someone just needs to take care of it and invest a little. Simply buying and then leaving it to itself and collecting the rent cannot work in the long run.
Unfortunately, the landlords were not willing to discuss or address the shortcomings at all. Literally, I was asked where they should now get new covers for the lounge chairs. Otherwise, we should report the things to the caretaker. He, in turn, sent us to the landlord. Everyone is passing the blame to the other and no one really listens to the issues.
The entire town offers so many holiday homes with this – or better – equipment. Would definitely prefer a different landlord!

No reunion
The house is basically quite nice, nicely furnished, very spacious, and very well equipped with a washing machine, whirlpool, and sauna (although this equipment is quite common in Göhren-Lebbin, sometimes with a dryer and shutters as well). However, in our opinion, the house and garden could be in a better or more well-kept condition.
During our stay, we had telephone contact with the landlords. Among other things, we informed them that several light bulbs are defective, parts of dishes, cutlery, and glasses needed to be cleaned before use, and the baking tray is not in an appetizing condition. Unfortunately, during our 14-day stay, nothing has changed regarding the various defects, even though some of them could have been easily fixed (light bulbs, number of cutlery, baking tray, etc).
We have spent several vacations in holiday apartments or houses. This was the first time that the landlords did not use a rental agency but lived nearby.
Perhaps that's why we are disappointed that the house and garden are not in better condition and that they didn't take care of some easily fixable issues.
We liked the area, and another holiday at the Mecklenburg Lake District is definitely possible, but in a different house with different landlords.
