The special features include the barrier-free ground floor with extra-wide doors and a bathroom at ground level. The in-house sauna and little extras, such as the dining table that extends to three metres and an extra fridge with an 80-litre freezer compartment, also make the Meeresrauschen house a favourite for large families. With a supermarket, small shops and the popular Rügen market, there are very good shopping opportunities in the small harbour town.

Our house Meeresrauschen is actually only 200 m away from the Baltic Sea beach. The Baltic Sea resort of Thiessow is one of the favourite places of everyone who likes to spend a lot of time on the beach and enjoys excursions into the typical Bodden landscape of the island of Rügen. The detached house is 260 sqm and offers enough space for up to 10 people in five bedrooms. Your own family with children or couples with friends will find the perfect domicile here. The Mönchgut peninsula is considered the most beautiful holiday region on the island of Rügen. Sunbathing on the Baltic Sea beach and surfing in the shallow waters of the Bodden - both are possible here, as the two bodies of water meet in Thiessow. In addition, the Zicker Mountains or the Reddevitzer Höft are romantic excursion destinations.

we have furnished this holiday home with great attention to detail and a sense of practicality. The seating set and dining chairs are covered with easy-care leather. And should guests ever come - the chairs from the bedroom in the same design complement the dining area to form a large table. The viewing pleasure is enhanced by a Blue Ray player and a home cinema system from Harman/Kardon. If desired, soft music accompanies guests in the sauna. Families feel particularly at home because there is a separate play corner with toys for children
Details such as specially coated surfaces in the bathrooms and a softening system for the water are a matter of course in this house. Genuine materials were chosen for the entire interior - such as solid wood furniture and equipment from German brands including Duravit, Hansa, WMF, Ritzenhoff-Breker and Leonardo. The high-quality traffic light umbrella by Zangenberg provides shade on the terrace. On the ground floor, underfloor heating ensures pleasant temperatures. After hikes in the cooler season, a wood-burning stove with a glass window provides cosy warmth. We, the Tegeler family, are the owners of the holiday home .

Short holiday in late autumn
Our group comes from all corners of Germany. And we felt very very comfortable in the spacious house. There is room for everyone in the living and kitchen area. A bedroom with a bathroom for a wheelchair user is on the ground floor. There are plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. Everything is clean and lovingly furnished.
However, the pavements are raised in the low season. One bright spot is the nearby restaurant
We give it 5 stars.
