Our spacious and cosy holiday home of approx. 130m² with park-like garden is located in the small, friendly village of Oldenswort on the North Sea peninsula of Eiderstedt. The house is designed for 6 adults, 2 extra beds for children and a baby cot. Of course you can bring your pets with you. We are also prepared for them.
When you enter the house, you first come into the open hallway. We offer you four bedrooms on two floors. On the ground floor you sleep in a rustic double bed, on the upper floor in a futon bed (140x200). Two single bedrooms on the upper floor can be extended by 2 extra beds. There is also a cot here.
There is a bathroom on each floor. They are equipped with a window to the garden, a bathtub and WC and a shower and WC.
The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with a fitted kitchen and dining table. The following appliances are available: Dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, kettle, fridge and freezer and an electric cooker with oven. Next door is a dining room with a beautiful view of the garden. A high chair is available for small children.
The bright living room has another large dining table for 6 people and a comfortable upholstered seating area. There is a flat screen TV with digital satellite connection, DVD and a stereo system.
An information folder gives you ideas for your activities and interesting facts about the house and the surrounding area. Lots of books and games for all age groups are available. Wlan connection with glass fibre cable.
In the garden you will find garden chairs, a table and deckchairs on the terrace - pure relaxation! In a small wooden house in the garden we keep garden toys and a barbecue ready for you. You are welcome to store your bicycles and other sports equipment there. You can park your car directly to the right or left on the property next to the house. The property is 1300m² large, 1000m² of which are completely fenced in with wire mesh and hedges. On the meadow children and/or their pets can romp around. The rear - overgrown - part of the garden can be reached via a gate at the ditch. A visit to our holiday home is also worthwhile in winter.

Close to the North Sea (6 km to the dyke) on the Eiderstedt peninsula in North Frisia, you can discover a unique natural area in the Wadden Sea National Park. Dike walks, bird migration in spring and autumn, observations in bird sanctuaries to the endless horizon for the nature lover. Or a walk to the Westerhever lighthouse through the mudflat foreland with countless sheep. Plus the kilometre-long sandy beach of St. Peter Ording (approx. 23 km away)," the biggest sandbox". Picturesque harbours, small villages, harbours and 18 ! Churches on Eiderstedt invite you to linger. And when "Blanke Hans" really rages, the wind blows your head and soul free. In the family-friendly village of Oldenswort (even the children greet you with Moin, Moin!) you can reach the nearby baker, butcher and grocer on foot. Make yourself really comfortable with tea punch (tea with Köm) and regional specialities over a Klönsnack in the bright living room. Oldenswort has about 1300 inhabitants and is situated on the Eiderstedt peninsula, a friendly village with good infrastructure:
Baker, butcher, merchant, very good restaurant, flowers, electrical, household and hardware goods, ATM, dentist, doctors, physiotherapy, various crafts, meeting place in the Klőn-Cafe. The village is surrounded by wide, green Fennen (pastures); the marshland reaches to the horizon. From Oldenswort you have interesting and endless possibilities for activities in all directions in the near and far surroundings.

Moin, moin. We live on the edge of the Ruhr area, but our second home is North Friesland and the sea. Since we love the country and its people, the friendly conversations with our neighbours, the ebb and flow of the tide, fresh crabs and fish sandwiches, the vastness, wind and waves of the North Frisian coast, we are always drawn back there to enjoy our own - sometimes longer - holidays in our cosy house.
