In the holiday home "Dürr 23" you can enjoy your holiday in the Black Forest. It is is located at 700 meters above sea level in a gentle and quiet high valley in the Middle Black Forest and offers ideal conditions for an unforgettable holiday. Surrounded by an idyllic landscape, you will find numerous opportunities for hiking, mountain biking and discovery tours.
The wooden house offers 5 separate bedrooms providing enough space for up to 12 people. The spacious living room with open kitchen and dining area can be used for sociable hours. In addition, the 27 sqm terrace invites you to relax outdoors. A garage is available for your bicycles. On cold winter days, the stove provides cosy warmth.
The Dürr family lives in Greater Stuttgart and can be reached by phone or e-mail.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located only 300m from the edge of the forest in a quiet residential area with no through traffic. 50m in front of the house you will also find a children's playground. The Sulzbach valley is very original with numerous traditional Black Forest farming houses and cow pastures. In the immediate vicinity numerous walks can be undertaken, for example to the "Gedächtnishaus Fohrenbühl" or to the castle ruins "Hohenschramberg". Furthermore, there are many perfect opportunities for mountain biking, so for example the descent to Hornberg is highly recommended.
Other attractions and activities in the area include the Triberg Waterfalls, the Gutach summer toboggan run and much more.
In the area you will find some recommended restaurants, such as the Höhengasthof Adler and Landhaus Lauble on the Fohrenbühl, and the brewery Lauterbach.

Great house
The house is top! For us as a large family (9 adults and 2 children) the room layout and furnishings were perfect. Dream location for hiking enthusiasts.

Highly recommended!
We used the vacation home Duerr23 as our accommodation for our class trip.
There is really everything you need in terms of equipment. A fully equipped kitchen, enough bathrooms, and a large living-dining room. The rooms are nicely and comfortably furnished. The contact with the landlords was uncomplicated and very accommodating.
The washing machine can be used, which was an advantage for us.
We are very happy to give 5 stars in all aspects.

in 1997, we built a wooden house in the Black Forest for our family of seven with the support of our relatives. This is where our children grew up and where we had our favourite family experiences. After seven years, we rented our house to families from the neighbourhood as we had to move for professional reasons and leave the Black Forest. When another change of tenant was due in 2015, our memories of our time in the Sulzbach Valley motivated us to convert it into a holiday home. The whole family and relatives pitched in and at the end of 2017, the time had come.
