Egmond aan Zee is a popular, family-friendly beach town on the North Holland coast. Here you will find the ideal combination of sand beach, dunes, sea and magnificent wooded areas. The many beach bars invite you to enjoy a wonderful beach day in the sun. Egmond is situated behind the dunes. Here you will find small boutiques and shops with a very wide offer, many restaurants, bars and cafes. Egmond aan Zee used to be the fishing village where children from the town could stay for a while, to regain strength. Even today Egmond aan Zee welcomes its visitors!

Visit the seals at the Zee Aquarium Bergen! The ideal day trip for small and big holidaymakers. After a short bicycle tour (about 30 minutes) through the fascinating dunes between Egmond and Bergen you will reach the Zee Aquarium in Bergen.
Go by bicycle, car or public transport to Alkmaar stad. From April to September the traditional cheese market at "de Waag" takes place every Friday morning.
