Description
On the m2 garden plot (completely fenced) are the cosy holiday house, which has recently been lovingly renovated for holiday rental, and a stable barn with bicycle shed. The house has 2 bedrooms, a living room with a small cannon stove, kitchen, shower room and an enclosed veranda as dining room. From almost everywhere in the house you have a wide view into the glacial valley of the river Ucker. The garden is available with an outdoor seating area and a playground. There are numerous fruit trees on the property and the garden is kept close to nature and offers various sun and shade spots. You can barbecue and use the table tennis table and ball games are possible on the lawn. Bicycles and boats can be rented from rental companies in the area. For beginners and advanced riders there are many possibilities in the immediate vicinity and in neighbouring villages.

In the heart of the Uckermark near Seehausen between the lakes Obersee and Uckersee, you can enjoy the vastness of the gently rolling landscape, the numerous clean bathing lakes and magnificent sunsets. Swimming and sunbathing, sailing, paddling and surfing are special summer experiences at the idyllic Ucker lakes. The good condition of the roads makes very nice bicycle tours and inline skating possible. Local produce (vegetables, eggs, poultry and sausage) and even good wine are available from local producers and traders in the neighbouring villages. The old village churches and their cemeteries invite you to linger.
You can easily reach the very quietly situated property both by car via the A 11 (exit Granzow) and by train (station Seehausen).

charming accommodation on a beautiful, quiet property
Even the approach to the property is a pleasure - the grandiose, expansive view over the Uckerssee landscape alone triggers spontaneous enthusiasm. Upon entering the beautiful, large and lovingly tended property, which is almost entirely surrounded by fields, it is confirmed that one can indulge in wonderful peace and contemplation here. We received a very pleasant and friendly welcome - the handover was completely uncomplicated and, on top of that, we were given a really tasty apple juice from our own harvest from the property - a very nice gesture for which we would like to thank you once again at this point! What should not go unmentioned, besides the lovely furnishings in the house, is the carefully selected assortment of good literature, films, music and even radio plays as well as the music system - this is not often found in holiday accommodations. All in all, we felt very comfortable and wanted for nothing. Thank you also for the opportunity to use ripe fruit, vegetables or herbs from the garden! One more remark about tackling the hill by bike: from our point of view, the hill, which is neither very steep nor very long, is not a hurdle even for children. which is also not very long, is not a hurdle at all - and those who still like or have to push can do so confidently on this road with little traffic. The Uckermark is beautiful and we will certainly come back soon - thank you!

Eine Woche absolute Ruhe
Genervt durch den Stadtlärm findet man hier absolute Ruhe; einfach Balsam für die Seele. Das Haus liegt völlig abgeschieden, umgeben von Feldern in einem winzigen Dorf. Man fühlt sich zum Teil in "alte" Zeiten versetzt, ein gewisser DDR-Charme hat uns die Woche begleitet, einfach schön.
Herr Koch hat uns herzlich empfangen und uns viel Raum und Zeit gegeben, alles zu entdecken. Das Häuschen selbst ist liebevoll eingerichtet, uns fehlte es an nichts. Geschirrtücher, Taps, Spühlmittel, Waschmittel, Salz, Pfeffer; alles war vorhanden. Selbst eine Waschmaschine und ein Trockner im Keller.
Wir hatten uns die Uckermark etwas "geradliniger" vorgestellt, gerade die Auffahrt zum Ort mit dem Fahrrad war immer schweißtreibend aber wir hatten Urlaub und Zeit, so konnte man das Fahrrad notfalls auch mal schieben :-).
In der Gegend rundum Berghausen findet man viel Sehenswertes, Schlösser, eine alte Mühle, Seen; selbst bis zum Schiffshebewerk Niederfinow und zum Schloss Chorin ist es nicht weit. Auch ein Ausflug nach Polen zu den Krummen Bäumen lohnt sich.
Wir möchten diese wunderbare Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Man kommt mal so richtig "runter", genießt die Natur, lässt die Seele baumeln, selbst das Fehlen des Fernsehers sowie teilweise keine Internetverbindung fühlt sich vor Ort fast normal an.

Immer wieder eine Reise wert, wird uns dieser zauberhafte Ort sein!
Nach einer erholsamen Woche im vergangenen Herbst, haben wir das Ferienhaus Ende Juni erneut für zwei Wochen gemietet und waren wieder begeistert von Grundstück und Landschaft.
Einmalig weit und großzügig ist der Blick über das Uckertal bis hin zum See! Entspannen konnten wir wunderbar in dem naturnahen und sehr liebevoll gepflegten Garten, mit einem guten Buch in der Hängematte schaukelnd. Reifes Gemüse und Obst durften wir ernten und in diesem Sommer waren die Aprikosen besonders köstlich. Bei unseren Fahrradausflügen zu den nahe gelegenen Seen und Sehenswürdigkeiten (bis nach Chorin) hat sich uns der Zauber dieser Landschaft besonders erschlossen.

Wonderful garden with a view of the lake
Perfect summer house to exhale!!! We spent two wonderful summer weeks at Haus Koch. Every member of the family had their favourite spot: the beautiful veranda , the garden table in the shade, the playhouse and the large meadow for romping with the dog. The orchard and the salad from the vegetable patch enriched our menu. Even the fact that the football fans had to drive to the next campsite for the finals was forgiven. Two weeks without WLAN and TV are even survivable for young people, at least we had good mobile phone reception. The only drawback: after swimming in the lake, we had to pedal back up the mountain by bike....
Thanks to the well-equipped kitchen, the rich bookcase and the exciting films, there was no time for boredom even on a rainy day
Conclusion: We had a wonderful rest and will gladly come again.

As a child of the Ruhr area, I was looking for a place of recreation for my family and myself in beautiful countryside not far from Berlin and found it in the gently rolling landscape of the Uckermark. Just the view of the vastness of the countryside is a recreation for me and, together with swimming, sailing and occasional horse riding, as well as spending time with the garden, it is sometimes paradise.
