The renovated former farmhouse (1879) is on 3 hectares of land with play / sports field and tennis court.
From the living room one has a view of the nature reserve with deer, meadows, etc. Every season offers beautiful pictures of grain fields, flowering rape fields. In the province of Groningen, the nights are very dark with beautiful stars.
Within 20 minutes you are in the exciting nightlife in the historic city of Groningen or Bourtange or in Fontana (Bad Nieuweschans) or in the beautiful German town Leer. In the center of Midwolda, just 900 meters away is the beach and just adjacent to Ennemaborg estate. You can reach the cottage via the beautiful driveway. The different types of accommodation offer the possibility for a group of 20 to 40 (sole use) or up to 60 people. The indoor beachhal (the first hour free and then 50% off) ensured a bad weather program. Due to its location, this place is ideal for rest (cyclists and hikers) and / or sports-minded guests.
Midwolda is a village in the municipality of Oldambt with more than 2000 inhabitants. Until 1990, Midwolda was an independent municipality and since then Midwolda was part of the municipality of Scheemda. Since 2010 Midwolda belongs to the municipality of Oldambt. In the old town hall (2005) there is an English tea house. In the village there is a church from 1738, which is home to a famous organ of the German organist Hinsz. There are regular concerts. Before 1738 the church of Midwolda (Kruiskerk) lay north of the village.
The village is known for the only forest in the province of Groningen (the Ennemaborg estate) and its skating rink, where marathons rides on natural ice during heavy winters. To the south of the village is the area of the project Blauwestad, an area created by underwater and where a completely new residential community with about 1500 houses is created.
In total, the village of Midwolda has 22 entries in the national register, including the castle of Ennemaborg and its castle, park, building and entrance gate. Rating as a group accommodation
The whole area is really nicely designed for families or, in our case, for a holiday camp with children. The house owners are always reachable, very very nice and make many things possible. The proximity to a bathing lake and the surroundings are also very beautiful.
The arrangement of small wooden huts in a barn as rooms for all children is unique, as is the beach volleyball hall and the black light hall.

Lots of space in the former farmhouse with nice bad weather options and activities.
It was very nice, the B&B rooms were cozy as well. The space everywhere was suitable for a large group. There were also enough parking options. And it was also nicely decorated with Christmas gifts, so the entrance was also nice. Reception was good and we also had a delicious breakfast because we stayed longer for one night. The Berrevoets family is very friendly. Family (with children and grandchildren) Once again it was great. 900m from the beach, next to the Ennemaborgh forest.
