Description
The MEZZANINE is the stone building with the former upper barn of the oldest farm building with a wide view over the terrace
Except for the upper meadow and the old stones.
On two levels are the inviting large living room with terracotta floors
And the hallway,
In the large bathroom and in the airy bedroom
With warm wooden floor.
The beautiful spacious kitchen offers everything from the wine kettle to the wooden spoon
To make a delicious French menu on the table.
A wooden staircase leads from the living room in three steps down to the sunny terraces protected by two curved stone walls and into the flowering garden.

South France vacation in our restored former farm MAS CHATAIGNER amidst a spacious Mediterranean garden.
We rent 3 small natural stone cottages each year with own entrances and large terraces, together with the main house, the open barn and the workshops form the homestead Mas Chataigner.
In order to preserve the charm of the old walls, we have worked mainly with wood, stones, lime plaster and lots of love and care.
The rooms are bright and fresh in summer and in winter
Bright and well heated.
From the Jaune, the mezzanine or the Paysanne suite
One reaches the upper meadow with young fruit trees over the shared sun terrace with the fire place
And beautiful views of the nearby Cevennes.
Protected by a small hill is the round
Swimming pool surrounded by lawns, sun tent and pebble beach.
Slightly below is the small sports meadow and the big old barn, where bicycles or motorcycles can safely be placed.
Next to the driveway of Mas Chataigner, with no white gravelled car park with shady mulberry trees visible from the street or from the garden.
