The house is appropriate for 6 people in the countryside with own pool and parking. The next cafe is approx. 100m, butcher 150m and the local centre approx. 200m. Small supermarkets are on the way to the market place. Excavation places such as Phaistos, Gortis, Komos, Agia Triada are all well by bus or attainable or by car in 5-10 minutes. The beach is appropriate for 800 m away, the sea you see from the 1 floor of the house. A wonderful sight when having breakfast….

The small village of Pitsidia, with about 600 inhabitants, is situated 3km from Matala on the southern coast of Crete, The drive from Heraklion takes about an hour. Pitsidia has lots of small mini markets which cater for everyday needs. As this is not a typical tourist village you can meet the friendly locals every evening in the beautiful centre and dine in one of the various excellent small tavernas.

There are 3 bedrooms with double beds or single beds (arrangable), after choice with morning sun or evening light and 2 fully out-permitted baths with shower and/or bath tub.
